The Boston Globe reports that first-year guard JR Giddens has been recalled by the Celtics from the Utah Flash of the NBA Developmental League.

Our View
Giddens averaged 17.3 points and 6.5 rebounds in 13 games with the Flash. He ranked in the top 20 in scoring in the developmental league.

Iverson not fretting over game with former team

Pistons guard Allen Iverson says he's treating Friday night's game against his former team like any other contest, according to the Associated Press. "It's just another game for me. I've been in the league 13 years," Iverson said of Detroit's game with the Denver Nuggets. "It's going to be good to be back with the fans that had supported me. I have a lot of good memories from playing there."

Our View
Denver acquired Iverson from Philadelphia halfway through the 2006-07 season on the assumption he and Nuggets forward Carmelo Anthony would help bring a championship to the franchise. Instead, the title never materialized and Iverson's 22-month stay in the Mile High City ended when Denver traded him to Detroit prior to this season.

Jones gets 10-day contract

It wasn't a very efficient game for Crawford, as he also committed five turnovers. The Warriors were without Stephen Jackson, forcing Crawford to handle the additional workload on the offensive end.
