Salmons scores 21 points in home openerWednesday 11/5, 11:58 PM CT
John Salmons helped lead the Kings to a win over Memphis in their home opener on Wednesday. He played 43 minutes and finished with 21 points, nine rebounds, three assists and a steal.

Our View: Salmons is playing a ton of minutes now that Ron Artest has left Sacramento. He has produced good numbers across the board to start the season.
Martin leads Kings to victoryWednesday 11/5, 11:55 PM CT
Kevin Martin scored over 30 for the second time in three games as the Kings defeated the Grizzlies 100-95 on Wednesday. He finished with 33 points on 11-for-18 shooting.

Our View: Martin has been uncharacteristically inconsistent this season. In his other three games, he has failed to score over 17 points. Expect him to average somewhere in between, perhaps as much as 25 points per game.
Lowry sees 31 minutes off of benchWednesday 11/5, 11:51 PM CT
Kyle Lowry played twice as much as starting point guard Mike Conley on Wednesday as Memphis lost 95-100 in Sacramento. Lowry had 14 points, seven assists, and six rebounds with two treys.

Our View: Conley's gotten off to a slow start and Lowry has shown he is capable of running the team. Should he take over the starter's position, he holds sound fantasy value.
Mayo hits six threes, scores 28Wednesday 11/5, 11:48 PM CT
Rookie O.J. Mayo caught fire as the Grizzlies fell to the Kings on Wednesday. He finished with 28 points on 10-of-19 shooting, including 6-of-10 from three.

Our View: Mayo has been streaky as is expected. He entered the game averaging just 14.0 points per game but you can expect that to go up quite a bit starting with Wednesday's performance.
Nash held to seven points in winWednesday 11/5, 11:42 PM CT
Steve Nash had just seven points and six assists despite the Suns scoring 113 points as they defeated the Pacers on Wednesday. He took just five shots in the win.

Our View: Nash was having an excellent season heading into this game. Will he play this poorly on the back end of back-to-back games all season? Not likely. Amare Stoudemire won this game by himself and Nash was never needed.
Ford scores 23 in lossWednesday 11/5, 11:38 PM CT
T.J. Ford scored 23 points but had just three assists as the Pacers fell 103-113 to the Phoenix Suns. He shot 9-for-18 from the field and had no turnovers.

Our View: It's no surprise to see a point guard post high point totals against Steve Nash, but Ford is a very underrated shooter. He needs to pick it up in the assists department as he has just 12 dimes through his first three games as a Pacer.
Wallace maintains lopsided performanceWednesday 11/5, 11:27 PM CT
Ben Wallace has 27 rebounds and no points in his last two games. He is averaging 1.6 points, 9.8 rebouns, 1.8 blocks and 0.8 steals through five games. He has taken just 11 shots this season.

Our View: The defensive specialist has become even more specialized this season. If you can take the massive hit in points, Wallace may actually be worth owning.
Iguodala is held to two points in lossWednesday 11/5, 11:22 PM CT
Andre Iguodala had his worst game of the season on Wednesday as the 76ers were beat by the Heat 106-83. He had just two points on 1-for-7 shooting.

Our View: He played just 23 minutes and it is a bit of a mystery why he is struggling this badly. Elton Brand's presence is no excuse. He has scored 10 points or less in three of the Sixers five games and is turning the ball over 3.2 times per game.
Chalmers has nine steals in Heat winWednesday 11/5, 11:18 PM CT
Mario Chalmers continued to start at point guard as the Heat beat the 76ers 106-83. Chalmers had an incredible nine steals to go with six points, six rebounds, and four rebounds.

Our View: Nine steals? He entered the game averaging 2.0 per game. If he can maintain that average or better it, he will be worth owning.
Telfair returns for MinnesotaWednesday 11/5, 11:14 PM CT
Sebastian Telfair returned from his three-game suspension on Wednesday and played 30 minutes in Minnesota's 129-125 double-overtime loss to the Spurs. He had eight points, 10 assists, a steal and one turnover in the effort.

Our View: Randy Foye is not playing very well and there's a good chance Telfair will eat into his minutes. If he were to steal the starting job from Foye (unlikely) he would likely be worth owning on teams that are desperate for assists.
Love plays plenty minutes in close lossWednesday 11/5, 11:10 PM CT
Kevin Love finished Minnesota's double-overtime loss with 37 minutes of playing time. He scored 14 points, grabbed nine rebounds and blocked three shots. He shot just 4-for-13 but did hit a three.

Our View: Love is not roster worthy right now. There will be night's when he gets minutes and produces decent stat lines, but there are better, more consistent options out there.
Ridnour records double-double in returnWednesday 11/5, 11:08 PM CT
Luke Ridnour had 20 points and 11 assists while leading the Bucks to a 112-104 overtime win at home on Wednesday. He played 43 minutes in his first game back from a back injury.

Our View: Ridnour kept his starting job and rewarded his coach with his best game, by far, of the season. If it is assists that your team needs, Ridnour should be able to provide them. Don't expect him to score double-figures every night though.
Young outplays Stevenson againWednesday 11/5, 11:05 PM CT
Nick Young scored 14 points in 25 minutes off of the bench as the Wizards fell to the Bucks in double-overtime on Wednesday.

Our View: Once again, Young outplayed starter DeShawn Stevenson. The Wizards are 0-3 and if their struggles continue, expect Young to eventually see starter's minutes. He is worth a flier on the waiver wire.
Bibby is held to eight points in winWednesday 11/5, 11:03 PM CT
Mike Bibby had an off-night and lost a lot of minutes to a more impressive Flip Murray as the Hawks won in New Orleans on Wednesday. He had just eight points and four assists on 3-of-10 shooting.

Our View: This was likely a case of just being shut down by one of the best defenders at his position, Chris Paul. Bibby and the Hawks are 3-0 and he probably will not have many nights like this.
Perkins contributes in winWednesday 11/5, 10:59 PM CT
Kendrick Perkins scored 10 points, grabbed nine rebounds and blocked four shots as the Celtics won in Oklahoma City on Wednesday.

Our View: The 24-year-old had a nice night but he is still a No. 3 center at best.
Kirilenko continues his roto comebackWednesday 11/5, 10:57 PM CT
Andrei Kirilenko continued a nice rebound season despite coming off of the bench as the Jazz defeated Portland on Wednesday. He scored 17 points and had four rebounds, four assists, two steals and a block in 32 minutes.

Our View: AK47 is thriving in the sixth-man role and he is restoring his fantasy value in the process.
Fernandez scores 14 off of the benchWednesday 11/5, 10:53 PM CT
Rudy Fernandez came off the bench to contribute 14 points, two treys, three assists, three rebounds and a steal as Portland lost in Utah on Wednesday.

Our View: The rookie is averging 14 points per game and he contributes enough in the other categories to warrant a fantasy roster spot. Expect the Spaniard to keep up his production all season.
Okur leads all scorers in winWednesday 11/5, 10:48 PM CT
Mehmet Okur led the Jazz to a 103-96 victory over Portland on Wednesday. He finished with 22 points and nine rebounds.

Our View: Okur has just one block this season, which is a bit disappointing.
Jefferson scores 30 in lossWednesday 11/5, 10:35 PM CT
Al Jefferson battled all night with Tim Duncan on Wednesday as Minnesota fell in double-overtime. Jefferson finished with 30 points, 14 rebounds and two blocks.

Our View: Jefferson is off to another good start for Minnesota. He is becoming one of the most consistent big men in the game and a valuable fantasy commodity.
Miller snaps cold streakWednesday 11/5, 10:32 PM CT
Mike Miller busted out of his three-game slump with 25 points as the Timberwolves fell 129-125 on Wednesday. He hit five threes and contributed seven rebounds and six assists.

Our View: Miller has looked uncomfortable at times with his new team, but he was on the court for 48 minutes against the Spurs. Expect him to pick up his production moving forward.
Mason scores career-high in winWednesday 11/5, 10:29 PM CT
Roger Mason Jr played 44 big minutes in the Spurs double-overtime win in Minnesota on Wednesday. he finished with a career-high 26 points on 9-of-16 shooting. He combined with Tony Parker and Tim Duncan for 111 of the Spurs' 129 points.

Our View: Gregg Popovich has been begging Mason to play a bigger role on offense and he answered the call tonight. As long as Manu Ginobili remains out, Roger Mason is certainly worthy of a roster spot.
Duncan posts 30 points, 16 rebounds in winWednesday 11/5, 10:25 PM CT
Tim Duncan had 30 points and 16 rebounds as the Spurs won 129-125 over the Timberwolves on Wednesday. The big man shot 12-for-26 from the field and a rare 6-of-7 from the free throw line.

Our View: Duncan posted a huge double-double to help carry the Spurs to a win. The Spurs may miss Manu Ginobili, but Duncan's fantasy owners do not.
Parker scores 55 in double-OT winWednesday 11/5, 10:22 PM CT
Tony Parker hit 22-of-36 shots and finished with 55 points and 10 assists while carrying the Spurs to their first victory of the season, a 129-125 win in Minnesota.

Our View: The Timberwolves had no answer for Longoria-Parker tonight. He has been doing a great deal more shooting without Manu Ginobili (ankle) in the lineup and expect that trend to continue.
Allen leads Celtics over ThunderWednesday 11/5, 10:19 PM CT
Ray Allen had his second consecutive productive game after struggling through his first three. He finished with 18 points, nine rebounds, four assists, three treys, and two steals as the Celtics defeated the Thunder 96-83.

Our View: Allen seems to be getting back on track as he's been attempting a lot more shots in his last two contests.
Butler scores 27 in lossWednesday 11/5, 10:10 PM CT
Caron Butler scored 27 points as the Wizards fell in overtime to Milwaukee on Wednesday. The All-Star small forward also contributed seven rebounds, four steals and three assists.

Our View: Butler shot 9-for-15 from the field and 9-for-10 from the line in a very productive night for his fantasy owners.
Jefferson score 31 in OT winWednesday 11/5, 10:08 PM CT
Richard Jefferson led all scorers with 32 as the Bucks prevailed 112-104 over the Wizards in overtime on Wednesday. He added nine assists, three rebounds, two steals and two treys to his line.

Our View: Jefferson came into the game shooting just 34.5 percent but his 13-of-23 shots on Wednesday. Michael Redd did not play and Jefferson's owners clearly benefitted.
Sessions scores 22 off of the benchWednesday 11/5, 10:02 PM CT
Ramon Sessions came off of the bench for 34 minutes of action as the Bucks beat the Wizards 112-104 in overtime on Wednesday. He finished with 22 points and eight assists, while shooting 9-for-17 from the field.

Our View: The Bucks were without Michael Redd tonight and although Charlie Bell started, it was Sessions that saw more playing time. Starting point guard Luke Ridnour (back) played 43 minutes and had 20 points and 11 assists.
LeBron demolishes BullsWednesday 11/5, 9:56 PM CT
LeBron James erupted for 41 points, nine rebounds, six assists and four steals as the Cavaliers defeated the Bulls 107-93 on Wednesday. He shot 13-for-23 from the field and 15-for-16 from the free throw line.

Our View: The King has scored a combined 70 points in his last two games while shooting 28-for-31 from the free throw line. His free throw shooting was a big knock against him amongst fantasy gurus but it appears that he has tried to address the issue. Should he up his average above 75 percent, he could be the top roto-player this season.
Gordon scores a point-per-minute in lossWednesday 11/5, 9:51 PM CT
Ben Gordon came off the bench for 31 points in 31 minutes against the Cavaliers on Wednesday. He shot 11-for-19 from the field and 5-for-9 from behind the arc. He also had five assists, a block and three rebounds.

Our View: This was the first time Gordon's scored over 20 this season, but that could be attributed to the fact that he missed all of training camp and most of the preseason with a sore toe. However, Larry Hughes has yet to return from injury and Gordon's minutes figure to decline once he does.
Rose scores 20 in lossWednesday 11/5, 9:45 PM CT
Derrick Rose had 20 points and seven assists as the Bulls fell 93-107 in Cleveland. He shot 7-for-16 from the field and had three turnovers.

Our View: Rose entered the game averaging only 3.5 assists, but that was mostly because the Bulls weren't hitting many of their shots. He played well tonight and he continues to shoot as much as anyone on the roster. He has mostly outperformed his expectations in the early going.
Peja returns from sprained ankleWednesday 11/5, 9:41 PM CT
Peja Stojakovic returned from a sprained ankle on Wednesday but shot just 3-for-13 from the field. He finished with just eight points, six rebounds and four assists as the Hornets fell 79-87 on Wednesday.

Our View: When Peja's shot is not falling he's usually not much good to his owners. However, he had moderate numbers across the board tonight, incuding two treys. The good news is he has returned from his ankle injury far earlier than anyone expected.
Paul performs well in lossWednesday 11/5, 9:36 PM CT
Chris Paul scored 22 points with 11 assists and three steals as the Hornets fell 79-87 to the Hawks on Wednesday.

Our View: Paul is just plain good and he has picked up right where he left off last season - leading the league in steals and assists.
Johnson leads Hawks over HornetsWednesday 11/5, 9:33 PM CT
Joe Johnson led all Atlanta scorers with 24 as the Hawks won in New Orleans 87-79 on Wednesday. He was 10-for-21 from the field while contributing seven rebounds and four assists.

Our View: Johnson continues to shoot well and has 84 points through three games. He should hang around the Top 10 in scoring all season playing next to point guard Mike Bibby.
O'Neal continues to struggleWednesday 11/5, 9:29 PM CT
Jermaine O'Neal finished with just eight points, three rebounds and one block as the Raptors fell 93-100 to the Pistons on Wednesday.

Our View: O'Neal has not performed well in the early going as he is averaging just 10.3 points and 6.3 rebounds through four games. He has played 31.5 minutes per game and is shooting just 17-for-45 from the field.
Young scores 19 in lossWednesday 11/5, 9:23 PM CT
Thaddeus Young had his second consecutive good game as the 76ers fell 83-106 to the Heat on Wednesday. He led Philadelphia with 19 points, three treys, four boards and three steals.

Our View: Young shot 7-for-14 from the field and he appears as though he will provide excellent value to his owners this season.
Wade produces big in winWednesday 11/5, 9:19 PM CT
Dwyane Wade led the Heat to another victory on Wednesday night, this time while defeating the 76ers. He scored 29 points, seven rebounds, six assists, five steals and three blocks.

Our View: This qualifies as a monster fantasy game despite his four turnovers. Wade finally found his stroke. He was 9-for-15 from the field and 11-for-13 from the line. He entered the game shooting 41 percent from the field and just under 70 percent from the line.
Okafor puts up double-double against KnicksWednesday 11/5, 9:13 PM CT
Emeka Okafor had 16 points, 15 rebounds and two blocks as the Bobcats fell 98-101 to the Knicks on Wednesday.

Our View: Okafor is a good No. 2 center as he can get you a double-double most nights. However, he is a drag on free throw percentage and turnovers and, as always, remains a health risk.
Robinson scores 24 in winWednesday 11/5, 9:09 PM CT
Nate Robinson scored 24 points in 11 minutes but was held scoreless in the remaining 18 minutes of action he saw as the Knicks defeated the Bobcats 101-98.

Our View: Robinson was a perfect 5-for-5 from beyond the arc and was 9-for-12 in all from the field. He has certified himself as a roster worthy player.
Randolph leads Knicks to victoryWednesday 11/5, 9:05 PM CT
Zach Randolph led the Knicks to a 101-98 victory over the Bobcats and Larry Brown on Wednesday. He finished with 25 points and 13 rebounds. He shot 10-for-15 from the field and a perfect 5-for-5 from the line.

Our View: Randolph is averaging 18 points and 10.5 rebounds this season. Unfortunately, he has just one block after four games. As usual, he will supply a good amount of points and boards but he provides little else.
Granger scores 23 in lossWednesday 11/5, 8:56 PM CT
Danny Granger had another all-around performance against the Suns on Wednesday. He finished with 23 points, three treys, and two blocks in the 103-113 loss.

Our View: Granger has been one of the best players in the early going but he has been disappointing on the boards. still, Granger has continued the performance from last season that shot him to the top of fantasy boards.
Daniels plays well in Dunleavy's absenceWednesday 11/5, 8:51 PM CT
Marquis Daniels continues to play well in place of Mike Dunleavy (knee). He scored 19 points with eight rebounds and two steals as the Pacers fell 103-113 on Wednesday.

Our View: If Daniels is still on waivers (unlikely) it's time to pick him up. Dunleavy's return date is unknown, but once he does return, Daniels will probably return to the bench.
Diaw steps up in place of ShaquilleWednesday 11/5, 8:48 PM CT
Boris Diaw played 30 minutes off of the bench in the Suns 113-103 win over the Pacers on Wednesday. Although he had just 12 points, he was able to contribute five rebounds, six assists and three blocks.

Our View: Diaw has been underwhelming this season and he should be able to produce games like this more often. However, the Suns were without Shaquille O'Neal most of the night, and Diaw can't be trusted to consistently produce. He is a borderline worthy fantasy player.
Stoudemire scores 49 against PacersWednesday 11/5, 8:44 PM CT
Amare Stoudemire absolutely destroyed the Pacers on Wednesday to the tune of 49 points, 11 rebounds, six assists, five steals and two blocks. He shot an incredible 17-for-21 from the field and 15-for-15 from the line as the Suns beat the Pacers 113-103.

Our View: With Shaquille O'Neal playing just 12 minutes and Matt Barnes missing the game due to personal reasons, Amare took over and the Pacers had no answer for him. Performances like this can be expected from the consensus fourth overall pick in fantasy drafts.
Calderon has another quality performanceWednesday 11/5, 8:40 PM CT
Jose Calderon had another strong performance despite the Pistons handing the Raptors their first loss of the season on Wednesday. He finished with 24 points and eight assists with just one turnover.

Our View: He also went 9-for-9 from the free throw line making him a perfect 23-for-23 this season. He also hit his seventh three and he has rewarded his owners for counting on him to produce big numbers with T.J. Ford gone.
Bosh plays well in lossWednesday 11/5, 8:37 PM CT
Chris Bosh had another good game, this time in a losing effort against Detroit. He finished with 26 points and 13 rebounds while shooting 11-for-24 from the field.

Our View: Bosh has upped his rebounding and scoring this season despite the presence of fellow big man Jermaine O'Neal. He has looked like a true fantasy stud in the early going this season.
Stuckey starts in place of IversonWednesday 11/5, 8:33 PM CT
Rodney Stuckey started at point guard again on Wednesday night as the Pistons defeated the Raptors 100-93. He played 32 minutes, scored 14 points, and had five assists against one turnover.

Our View: It was a solid performance from the second-year guard who was filling in for Allen Iverson. Stuckey will return to his sixth-man role on Friday when Iverson takes over the starting duties.
Prince leads Pistons over RaptorsWednesday 11/5, 8:29 PM CT
Tayshaun Prince had his best game of the season as the Pistons won 100-93 on Wednesday. He cored 27 points on 10-for-13 shooting, including two three-pointers. He added nine rebounds, three assists, a steal and two blocks in the win.

Our View: The Pistons were without Allen Iverson and once he joins the team on the court, Prince's shots figure to decline. However, he should be able to boost his assist totals and continue to focus on defense. Prince is more valuable in real life than in fantasy, but he is still a valuable player in roto-leagues.
LeBron returns Wednesday 11/5, 7:51 PM CT
Updating a previous report, LeBron James returned to Wednesday night's game against Chicago five minutes (of game time) after spraining his ankle.

Our View: Obviously, this is good news. He appears to be running well, and it is unlikely the injury will have any effect on his performance.
LeBron injures ankleWednesday 11/5, 7:37 PM CT
LeBron James limped off the floor during Wednesday's game against Chicago. He appeared to roll his left ankle while landing after a layup attempt. He did not go to the locker room, and currently remains on the team's bench.

Our View: Fantasy owners hold your breath. LeBron has battled back through numerous injuries rather quickly in his short career. Hopefully, he will be able to return to the floor soon.
Ridnour back in starting lineupWednesday 11/5, 7:19 PM CT
Luke Ridnour was back in the starting lineup for the Bucks on Wednesday after missing the previous two games with a back injury.

Our View: Ramon Sessions was very good in the games Ridnour missed, but coach Scott Skiles maintained that Ridnour would be his starter. Keep an eye on the battle, and should Sessions become the starter, he would be a worthy addition to a fantasy squad.
Blatche to start against BucksWednesday 11/5, 6:48 PM CT
The Washington Post reports that Andray Blatche will start on Wednesday against the Bucks, despite being benched in his last game. Center Etan Thomas will miss the game with a sprained ankle. "We want it to sort of jump start him for the remainder of the season. Not just a flash tonight. We want him to give great effort and play his role and carry it to tomorrow's practice and the weekend."

Our View: As long as he can stay out of foul trouble, expect a strong performance from Blatche. Coach Eddie Jordan was displeased with Blatche's effort in the Detroit game, and called him out after the game.
Thomas to miss Wednesday's gameWednesday 11/5, 6:45 PM CT
Etan Thomas who missed practice the last two days with a left ankle injury, will miss Wednesday's game against the Bucks, according to the Washington Post. He is day-to-day.

Our View: This open's the door for Andray Blatche and a string of strong efforts from him could result in even less minutes for Etan. He is averaging just 18.5 minutes per game this season.
Redd to miss Wednesday's gameWednesday 11/5, 6:42 PM CT
The Washington Post reports that Michael Redd will miss Wednesday night's game in Milwaukee due to a sprained ankle he suffered in his last game.

Our View: Redd is day-to-day and he could return this weekend. He remains a strong source of three-pointers and points.
Barnes will miss gameWednesday 11/5, 6:23 PM CT
Matt Barnes will miss Wednesday's game due to a family emergency. Grant Hill will start in his place.

Our View: Barnes' mother passed away shortly before last season and he admits that he never was right last season as a result. Hopefully, nothing of that magnitude has occured in this instance. The forward is off to a nice start for the Suns and has earned his way onto fantasy rosters.
Shaq will play WednesdayWednesday 11/5, 6:21 PM CT
Updating a previous report, Shaquille O'Neal will now play on Wednesday because Matt Barnes had to leave the team due to a family emergency.

Our View: The Suns' plan to occasionally give O'Neal breaks when the schedule and/or opponents presents a good opportunity. Phoenix was planning to do so on Wednesday as they are playing the second game of a road back-to-back set
Iverson will debut on FridayWednesday 11/5, 5:30 PM CT
Updating a previous report, the Detroit News reports that Allen Iverson will not play in Wednesday's game because Chauncey Billups will not take his mandated physical until Thursday morning in Denver. Billups has to pass the physical to make the trade official.

Our View: Iverson will debut on Friday in New Jersey and he should produce well with his new team as he will no longer have to defer shots to Carmelo Anthony.
Shaq to sit out Wednesday's gameWednesday 11/5, 5:25 PM CT
The Arizona Republic reports that Shaquille O'Neal will take a prescribed night off in Wednesday's game at Indiana. He is not injured.

Our View: Rookie center Robin Lopez will start in O'Neal's place as part of the Suns' plan to occasionally give O'Neal breaks when the schedule and/or opponents presents a good opportunity. Phoenix is playing the second game of a road back-to-back set and Indiana does not present a big, low-post presence at center with Jeff Foster starting.
Felton expected to play Wednesday 11/5, 3:17 PM CT
Raymond Felton participated in Wednesday's morning shootaround and is expected to play in tonight's game against the Knicks, according to the Charlotte Observer. He is dealing with a strained right hamstring.

Emeka Okafor is dealing with a strained left shoulder, but he was able to participate in the morning shootaround without any issues, and intends to face the Knicks tonight, according to the Charlotte Observer.

Anthony wants to honor ObamaWednesday 11/5, 3:07 PM CT
Carmelo Anthony stated that he would like to honor Barack Obama by scoring 44 points in tonight's game against the Warriors, according to the Denver Post.

Our View: He wants to score 44, as Obama was elected as the 44th president of the United States last night. Fantasy owners could cash in, but he will likely draw extra attention from the Warriors' defenders after making his comments public.

Tyson Chandler, who is recovering from a sprained right ankle, is expected to play in Wednesday's game, according to the New Orleans Times-Picayune. He said, "I'm definitely ready to go. I practiced the last couple of days and felt good about it. There's a little soreness, but it's good enough to go. I couldn't have gone Saturday night. You want to go, but I wasn't ready."

Peja Stojakovic, who is recovering from a sprained ankle, is expected to play in Wednesday's game, according to the New Orleans Times-Picayune. He said, "I'm going to give it a try. It's still swollen. But I was able to practice Tuesday and for most of the practice felt good. We'll see what happens tonight. I think I'm going to go and see how things develop during the game. If it got worse, then I'll check myself out."

Our View: He should be available to pencil into starting lineups tonight, but may potentially play limited minutes.
Williams ruled out Wednesday 11/5, 2:04 PM CT
Updating an earlier report, Deron Williams has been ruled out for Wednesday's game due to his sprained ankle, according to the Salt Lake Tribune. He said, "I don't know. I'm just going to keep rehabbing, take it day to day. That's all I can do."

Hughes will not play Wednesday 11/5, 1:57 PM CT
The Cleveland Plain Dealer indicates Larry Hughes will not play Wednesday against the Cavaliers, his former team. He is recovering from a dislocated right shoulder.

Our View: When he does return to action, he won't hold much fantasy value initially while fighting for minutes in a deep and talented backcourt.
Thomas misses shootaround Wednesday 11/5, 1:13 PM CT
Etan Thomas, who missed practice the last two days due to a left ankle injury, did not participate in today's shootaround, according to the Washington Post.

Deron Williams was able to participate in some non-contact drills during yesterday's practice, but he is considered doubtful for Wednesday's game against Portland, according to the Salt Lake Tribune. He is recovering from a sprained ankle.

Our View: He is expected to be questionable for Friday's game as well, meaning fantasy owners should not count on him making his 2008 debut this week.

Rasheed Wallace missed Tuesday's practice but is expected to play Wednesday, according to the Detroit News. He was dealing with general soreness.

Chucky Atkins is slowly recovering from knee surgery, and is believed to be on the Nuggets' trading block, according to HoopsWorld.com.

Boozer on Pistons' radar Wednesday 11/5, 8:02 AM CT
The Pistons are believed to target Carlos Boozer in the off-season, according to HoopsWorld.com.

Our View: With Allen Iverson's $21 million salary coming off the books, the Pistons are positioned to be big players in the free agent market. He is among the most productive forwards in the NBA, and is currently averaging 21 points and 10.7 boards over three games. Teams in the Northwest division would love to see him leave Utah.
Livingston displeased with comeback Wednesday 11/5, 7:18 AM CT
Shaun Livingston stated that doctors assured him he will regain his skills, but he is frustrated with his comeback so far, according to the Miami Herald. He said, "I'm 80 percent of where I was. Mostly it's not having the explosion to finish over defenders. Before the knee injury, I could storm by them." He is trying to bounce back after tearing three ligaments and dislocating his left kneecap in 2007.

Our View: The team wants to ease him back into the rotation slowly, and holds little to no fantasy value right now, as he is only averaging two points over 11 minutes per outing.
