November 4, 2009 Tomas Vokoun rejected all 32 shots fired in his direction in tonight's 3-0 win over Carolina at the BankAtlantic Center. He was named the First Star of the game. Our View:The 33-year-old netminder is in the zone, as he earned a shutout in each of his last two outings. He trimmed his goals-against average to 2.97 as well, and hopefully he can stay on track for fantasy owners following a poor start to the season. |

November 4, 2009 The Our View:Vokoun is coming off a shutout win over the Blues and carries plenty of confidence into Wednesday's matchup. He will likely start in Friday's game as well, but will give way to backup Scott Clemmensen on Saturday. As always, Vokoun is a great fantasy play, but his matchup against the Canes on Wednesday is much more favorable than Friday's where he will face a potent Washington offense. |
