January 25, 2010 Dainius Zubrus (knee) seems unlikely to resume practicing with the Devils until the team reassembles after the Olympic break at the end of February, according to the New York Post. Our View:With that said, don't expect Zubrus to be back on the ice until some time in March. He's probably best left in the free agency pool for now. |

January 11, 2010 Dainius Zubrus (knee) started skating this week, according to the Bergen Record. "He's skating well," head coach Jacques Lemaire said of Zubrus. "That's all that I know. It's good news he's skating well." Our View:With that said, Zubrus could potentially be back on the ice for New Jersey before the Olympic break in mid-February. He had two goals and five assists in 20 games before fracturing his kneecap on Nov. 19. |
