Nikolai Khabibulin didn't get any help from his team for the second straight game on Saturday as Edmonton fell to the Bruins 2-0. Khabibulin faced 27 shots in the game and stopped 25 of them.

Our View:The Oilers have been outscored 5-0 over the last two games, so you can hardly blame Khabibulin when his team can't score. He is still a very solid goaltender, but he needs better play in front of him if he is going to be successful.

Chicago goaltender Nikolai Khabibulin was brilliant Wednesday night as he stopped 36 of 38 shots in the Blackhawks' 3-2 win over the Ducks.

Nikolai Khabibulin took the loss on Friday, allowing three goals on just 22 Ranger shots. He probably shouldn't get all of the blame though, as two of the three goals he allowed came on the power play.

Our View:Khabibulin certainly would make a nice addition for a playoff contender in need of a goalie, but the Blackhawks may want to keep him at this point. At times this year, he's played better than number-one goalie Cristobal Huet. Unfortunately for the Blackhawks, Khabibulin took until the last year of his deal to start earning his large salary.
