November 18, 2009 Updating a previous report, hockey writer Matthew Barry is reporting on Twitter that Kings' forward Ryan Smyth will miss the next month of the season with an upper-body injury. Our View:The injury bug continues to hit the NHL hard, and now it has taken one of the Kings' best players. Smyth came over to LA in a trade during the offseason, and they will need him to come back strong if they are going to make a playoff push. |
