November 8, 2009 The San Jose Mercury News is reporting that the Sharks have assigned forward Logan Couture to their AHL affiliate in Worcester. Our View:Couture scored his first NHL goal on Thursday, and he had two points in seven games played with the team. No word on if the team is planning on calling another player up, but it looks like Couture will be down for the time being. |

Our View:Both players were previously called up because of injuries to starters and then sent back down on Monday, but the starters still aren't healthy so the kids are back for another tour. Couture has a promising future and is a top prospect in the Sharks system, but don't expect any fantasy return from him this season. |
