Our View:The point total isn't bad for Stastny, as he has 18 in 18 games, but the team needs him to get in the goal column a bit more often. He only has 4 goals, but expect that number to increase more consistently while his assist numbers continue stay solid. |

June 4, 2009 The Minneapolis Star-Tribune is reporting that the Colorado Avalanche have promoted Joe Sacco to be their new head coach. Sacco had previously been the head coach for the Avalanche's minor league affiliate, the Lake Erie Monsters. Our View:This move comes just one day after the team officially fired Tony Granato. The Avs have certainly shaken things up after their worst season since moving to Colorado, revamping the front office and now hiring a new coach. |
