October 19, 2009 Maxime Talbot returned to practice for the Penguins on Monday, according to the Our View:Talbot wore a red non-contact jersey today, and he won't be cleared for contact until later next month. The projected return date is in December, but he may try to come back sooner if everything goes well. |

September 29, 2009 Maxime Talbot skated today for the first time since undergoing surgery to repair a torn labrum in his left shoulder, according to Our View:This is encouraging news for Talbot, but the center is not expected to be ready to play until mid-season. |

July 7, 2009 Updating a previous report, the Our View:Talbot has been playing with this injury for quite awhile, and he and the team decided that now would be the best time to go under the knife. He should make a full recovery, and he is expected to be back sometime in November or December. |
