July 2, 2009 Sportsnet.ca reports that the Vancouver Canucks have signed defenseman Lawrence Nycholat. Terms of the deal were not released. Our View:Nycholat rejoins the Canucks after finishing last season with the Avalanche. In 19 games with both teams in 2008-09 he recorded one assist. He has nine points in 50 career NHL games and will likely be used as emergency depth. |
