May 5, 2009 The Our View:The shot to the head of Varlamov looked like a cheap shot by Kunitz, but luckily for him he has avoided a suspension. The Penguins can not afford any of their players being suspended since they are down 2-0 in the series. |

April 21, 2009 The Our View:The Flyers have not been quiet about the fact that they believe Kunitz should have been suspended for his hit much like Daniel Carcillo was suspended for his actions against the Penguins' Max Talbot. The league reviewed the play and decided the hit did not warrant any action. |

April 2, 2009 Chris Kunitz has certainly enjoyed life skating on a line with Bill Guerin and Sidney Crosby as he has scored 15 points in 15 games since being acquired by the Penguins, according to the Our View:Kunitz reached 50-points on the year with his last tally, his third straight season at that level, and if he continues to skate with Sid the Kid there is no reason to expect a drop-off of any kind in his production the rest of the season and into the playoffs. |
