Nathan Horton, who hurt his left leg against the Islanders on Thursday night, has been diagnosed with a fractured tibia and will be out the next four to six weeks, according to the Miami Herald.

Our View:This news comes as a major blow to both the Panthers and Horton's fantasy owners, as the ailment didn't originally seem too serious. Still, he must be held on to, and the upcoming Olympic break will temper the amount of NHL games that he'll miss as he recovers.

Nathan Horton could get off just one shot on Wednesday, as New Jersey defensively dominated the Panthers in a 2-0 win.

Our View:Horton has now gone three straight games without a point. Consider it an aberration.
