March 7, 2010
Cristobal Huet was unable to hold on to a 2-0 Chicago lead over Detroit after the first period, letting by four goals in the second period before getting pulled for Antti Niemi.

Our View:Huet finished off stopping 13-of-17 shot attempts from the Red Wings. Niemi wasn't great once he entered, giving up a goal off just eight shots, though it could very well be Niemi between the pipes for Chicago's next game.

Cristobal Huet was sharp Friday, stopping 21-of-22 shots in regulation and overtime, but allowed 2-of-3 shootout attempts to slip past him in a 2-1 loss to the Coyotes.

Our View:Huet has been a force between the pipes this season but has fallen on hard times lately. He has lost three straight games and despite being sharp on Friday, he allowed seven goals in his other two losses.
February 4, 2010
Cristobal Huet will start against Phoenix on Thursday, according to the Chicago Tribune.

Our View:Tonight will mark Huet's fourth consecutive start for the Blackhawks. Part of the reason has been because Antti Niemi has been ill, though Niemi still seems to be well enough to back up Huet tonight.
February 3, 2010
Cristobal Huet only stopped 16-of-19 shots in tonight's 3-2 loss to the Blues at the United Center.

Our View:Huet has taken a loss in back-to-back starts, and gave up seven goals over the span. Hopefully he will bounce back soon for fantasy owners.

According to the Chicago Tribune, Cristobal Huet will get the start between the pipes on Wednesday as the Blackhawks host the Blues.

Our View:Antti Niemi was originally slated to start, but he's dealing with an illness so the task falls to Huet. Joe Fallon has been recalled from the AHL to take over the backup duties.
January 30, 2010
Cristobal Huet only stopped 20-of-24 shots in tonight's 4-2 loss at Carolina.

Our View:Huet earned a win in each of his previous two starts, and should bounce back fine following tonight's poor performance. He still carries a solid 2.31 goals-against average for the season.
January 30, 2010
Cristobal Huet will be in goal on Saturday when the Blackhawks take on the Hurricanes, according to the Chicago Tribune.

Our View:24-9-3 this season, Huet has played well enough to stave off upstart Antti Niemi. Niemi will always be there waiting if he falters, however.
January 26, 2010
Cristobal Huet blocked 22-of-24 shots in tonight's 4-2 win at Edmonton.

Our View:Huet had another satisfying performance for Chicago and fantasy owners, and picked up his 23rd win of the season.
January 26, 2010
After Antii Niemi played poorly on Sunday, Cristobal Huet will be in net for the Blackhawks on Tuesday, according to the Chicago Sun-Times.

Our View:While Huet has been solid this season, Niemi has often been breathtaking. Expect the flip-flopping between the two to go on indeterminably.
January 19, 2010
Cristobal Huet was dreadful on Tuesday night, stopping just 14-of-18 shots in Chicago's 4-1 loss to the Senators.

Our View:Not a good development in his "battle" with Antii Niemi for Chicago's number one goaltending job. Considering how well Niemi has played this season, the job could soon be his.
January 19, 2010
Cristobal Huet will be back in the crease for for Chicago against Ottawa tonight, according to the Chicago Daily Herald.

Our View:Huet was pretty bad his last time out, leading to Antii Niemi getting the nod on Sunday. While Niemi will continue to spell Huet, Huet remains Chicago's No. 1 goalie for now and a fine play whenever you know he'll be between the pipes.
January 16, 2010
Cristobal Huet was dreadful on Saturday, making just 21 saves, but still got the win, as Chicago edged Columbus 6-5.

Our View:It was one of Huet's worst performances of the season. He has now allowed five goals in two of his past three starts, as well. Expect Antii Niemi to spell him Chicago's next time out.
January 14, 2010
Cristobal Huet turned aside all 24 shots he faced on Thursday as the Blackhawks whipped the Blue Jackets 3-0.

Our View:Huet earned his fourth shutout of the season and has now started seven straight games without losing in regulation. He's 21-8-3 on the year for the best team in the NHL.
January 5, 2010
Cristobal Huet allowed just one goal on 20 shots in Tuesday's 4-1 win over the Wild.

Our View:The Chicago netminder has been fantastic this season. Tuesday gave him three straight wins and 20 total on the year. If he continues on this roll, he'll likely get some looks in the Vezina voting.
January 2, 2010
Cristobal Huet stopped 19-of-22 shots in tonight's 6-3 win at St. Louis.

Our View:Huet did not have a strong outing as usual, but his teammates provided plenty of offensive firepower for him to pick up his 19th win of the season.
