March 7, 2010 Cristobal Huet was unable to hold on to a 2-0 Chicago lead over Detroit after the first period, letting by four goals in the second period before getting pulled for Antti Niemi. Our View:Huet finished off stopping 13-of-17 shot attempts from the Red Wings. Niemi wasn't great once he entered, giving up a goal off just eight shots, though it could very well be Niemi between the pipes for Chicago's next game. |

February 5, 2010 Cristobal Huet was sharp Friday, stopping 21-of-22 shots in regulation and overtime, but allowed 2-of-3 shootout attempts to slip past him in a 2-1 loss to the Coyotes. Our View:Huet has been a force between the pipes this season but has fallen on hard times lately. He has lost three straight games and despite being sharp on Friday, he allowed seven goals in his other two losses. |
