Ray Emery (hip) is questionable tonight against New Jersey, according to the Philadelphia Daily News.

Our View:Emery has sat the past two games with a sore left hip, though it's looking like he may be able to play on Monday. If not, Michael Leighton will get another start. This one could end up being a game-time call.

Ray Emery rejected all 18 shots fired in his direction in tonight's 3-0 win at Calgary.

Our View:Emery is playing good hockey, as he allowed two or less goals in four of his last five starts. He collected his third shutout of the season tonight.
January 30, 2010
Ray Emery rebounded from a poor outing on Thursday, stopping 31-of-32 shots in Philadelphia's 2-1 win over the Islanders on Saturday.

Our View:The start was Emery's seventh straight. During that time, he has firmly re-asserted himself as the Flyers' number one goalie.
January 28, 2010
Ray Emery struggled on Thursday, allowing four goals on 28 shots in a 4-3 loss to the Thrashers.

Our View:Emery was on a hot streak, allowing just four goals in his three starts prior to tonight, but fell apart in this one. He allowed three third period goals, blowing a 3-1 lead and as a result was handed his 11th loss of the season. He's now 14-11-1.
January 28, 2010
After allowing just four goals in his past three starts, Ray Emery will be in net for the sixth straight game on Thursday, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer.

Our View:He is 3-2-0 since returning from abdominal surgery. If he falters tonight, look for Michael Leighton to give him a breather this weekend.
January 24, 2010
Ray Emery stopped 20-of-22 shots on Sunday, but it wasn't enough, as Philadelphia lost 2-1 to the Penguins.

Our View:The loss dropped him to 14-10-1 on the season, and 3-2-0 since returning to the lineup earlier this month.
January 23, 2010
Ray Emery turned away 33 of the 35 shots he saw on Saturday in a 4-2 win over Carolina.

Our View:Emery was coming off his first shutout of the season and now has three-straight wins. Continue to play him when you know he'll get the nod over Michael Leighton.
January 21, 2010
Ray Emery rejected all 24 shots fired in his direction in tonight's 2-0 win over the Rangers at the Wachovia Center.

Our View:Emery earned a win in each of his last two starts, and collected his second shutout of the season. He would be a better fantasy option if he performed well with more consistency.
January 19, 2010
Ray Emery wasn't super sharp on Tuesday, but he got the job done, turning aside 25-of-28 shots in a 5-3 win over the Blue Jackets.

Our View:Emery got the start over Michael Leighton for the second straight game, and even though his offense bailed him out and he earned the win, he has been roughed up lately. He's been burned for eight goals in his last two games since returning from injury.
January 18, 2010
Ray Emery will start against the Blue Jackets tomorrow, according to the Flyers' Twitter page.

Our View:Emery will get the nod for a second-straight game over Michael Leighton, so be sure to adjust your lineup accordingly.
January 17, 2010
Ray Emery only stopped 17-of-22 shots in today's 5-3 loss at Washington.

Our View:Emery has taken a loss in each of his last three starts, and has not collected a win since November 16th (against Devils).
January 17, 2010
Ray Emery (recovery from abdominal surgery) will start in goal on Sunday for the first time since December 5, according to PhillyBlurbs.com.

Our View:He's been ready to return for about a week. Michael Leighton played very well in Emery's absence, and barring some spectacular play from Emery, will likely remain Philadelphia's number one goalie for the time being.
January 8, 2010
Ray Emery (abdominal surgery) has proclaimed himself ready to return to the ice for tomorrow's game against Tampa Bay, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer.

Our View:Emery has been out since Dec. 5, and while it's nice to hear that he's ready to play, that doesn't mean he'll necessarily start over Michael Leighton. Expect a decision regarding who will get the nod to come some time tomorrow.
January 3, 2010
Ray Emery says he is a week ahead of schedule in his recovery from abdominal surgery, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer.

Our View:His scheduled return date is January 20, so he may be able to get back on the ice closer to January 13. A better idea of his true status should emerge on Monday when he is set to be re-examined by team doctors.
