January 20, 2010 Daniel Sedin factored in all three Vancouver tallies Wednesday, including scoring the game winner in overtime to nip the Oilers 3-2. Our View:All three of Sedin's points came on the power play, and brother Henrik totaled three assists, factoring in all the goals as well. Daniel snapped a six-game point streak recently, but has started a new one with a vengence. He has a goal and four assists in his last two contests. |

January 2, 2010 Daniel Sedin was set up once again by brother Henrik on Saturday and scored his 11th goal of the season, which stood up as the game winner over Dallas. Our View:Sedin was a monster in the month of December, scoring 22 points in just 15 games, and it looks like his torrid stretch has carried over to 2010. He and brother Henrik were the NHL's top performers last month, so look for that trend to continue moving forward as the Canucks climb the Western Conference ladder. |
