October 28, 2009 Updating a previous report, Canucks' netminder Roberto Luongo reportedly has a hairline fracture in his ribs, according to Our View:Well this injury doesn't appear to be as bad as it could have been. There's no guarantee that he will only miss a week, but it doesn't look like a long-term thing. Fantasy owners and Canuck fans should be able to exhale now. |

There is speculation that it is a shoulder problem, but we will update his status when more info becomes available. Fantasy owners should stash him on the bench and find another option for now. |
