Jeremy Maclin, WR Friday 11/6, 6:13 PM CT
Jeremy Maclin fully practiced Friday, according to the Cowboys' official website.

Our View: Maclin is dealing with a foot ailment, but is expected to play in Sunday's divisional game against Dallas. The prized rookie could make an impact, as the Cowboys are ranked 22nd in pass defense.
DeSean Jackson, WR Friday 11/6, 6:10 PM CT
DeSean Jackson has been nursing a foot ailment, but is expected to play in Sunday's home game against Dallas, according to the Cowboys' official website. He fully practiced Friday.

Our View: Jackson is averaging 20.9 yards over 24 receptions this season, and the rising star could make some noise against the Cowboys' 22nd ranked pass defense.
Brian Westbrook, RB Friday 11/6, 12:45 PM CT
Brian Westbrook (concussion) was given practice off on Friday and is listed as questionable in the Eagles injury report, according to Adam Caplan. However, it is believed that he is slated to play this Sunday against the Cowboys.

Our View: Even if he does play, we're not sure how much the Eagles will rely on him. A hard hit could be devastating to Westbrook, so remain cautious and consider other options.
Brian Westbrook, RB Thursday 11/5, 12:56 PM CT
Brian Westbrook practiced for the second straight day on Thursday, according to beat writer Brian Seltzer. Westbrook is expected to return to action this week.

Our View: Westbrook is almost surely going to play this week, and he looks recovered from his concussion that kept him out last week. Fantasy owners should feel confident with him in the lineup, as he will be at or close to 100 percent at game time.
Macho Harris, S Wednesday 11/4, 4:56 PM CT
According to ESPN 950 out of Philadelphia, Eagles' rookie safety Macho Harris has lost his starting spot to veteran Sean Jones. Harris missed last week's game with an ankle injury, but coach Andy Reid said Harris would have been replaced as the starter even if he would have played.

Our View: Harris will still be on the field in several defensive packages, but Jones will be the primary starter at the position. Harris has a bright future in the secondary for the Eagles, but the team feels the veteran presence of Jones is what they need right now.
Kevin Curtis, WR Wednesday 11/4, 12:59 PM CT
Pro Football Talk reports that wide receiver Kevin Curtis has yet to return to practice.

Our View: Curtis' knee injury has kept him from catching a pass since Week 2, and he is a strong candidate to go on injured reserves some time in the near future. There is no chance of him seeing action in Week 9.
Brian Westbrook, RB Wednesday 11/4, 12:53 PM CT
The National Football Post reports that Eagles running back Brian Westbrook is expected to play Week 9 against the Cowboys.

Our View: Coach Andy Reid has declared Westbrook available for action against Dallas and says that the elite back is no longer suffering from symptoms related to the concussion that held him out of the lineup in Week 8. He has returned to practice and should be fine to employ in fantasy lineups once again. In his career against the Cowboys, he has averaged 4.1 yards per carry and has racked up seven touchdowns.
LeSean McCoy, RB Wednesday 11/4, 12:48 PM CT
ESPN's Sal Paolantonio reports that running back LeSean McCoy did not practice on Wednesday due to a nasty bout with the flu.

Our View: McCoy is expected to recover by the end of the week, and it appears that H1N1 has been ruled out, but he likely won't see much action with Brain Westbrook returning this week. He'll be relegated to the number-two back once again, and despite his strong fantasy performance last week, will not be worth employing in Week 9.
Brent Celek, TE Wednesday 11/4, 9:38 AM CT
The Philadelphia Inquirer reports that Brent Celek has accrued the fourth most yards out of all NFL tight ends this season.

Our View: The only tight ends to rack up more than Celek's 447 yards are Dallas Clark, Antonio Gates and Owen Daniels (who is out for the season). That puts him in pretty elite company, and while his breakout year has been helped by Donovan McNabb's effectiveness, Celek has made leaps and bounds this season. He's also grabbed three touchdowns in his seven games, so we're not looking at a "Chris Cooley" type situtation from last year, where the yards are there but he never finds the end zone. Feel comfortable playing him in all fantasy formats.
Brian Westbrook, RB Monday 11/2, 3:47 PM CT
Brian Westbrook (concussion) is expected to resume practicing on Wednesday, according to the Dallas Morning News.

Our View: Only non-contact drills, however. For now, consider him questionable for this Sunday against the Cowboys.
Jeremy Maclin, WR Sunday 11/1, 5:46 PM CT
Jeremy Maclin had four receptions for 47 yards and a touchdown in the Week 8 win over the New York Giants.

Our View: Over the last four games, Maclin has compiled four or more receptions three times with three scores. The rookie has taken full advantage of Kevin Curtis' lingering knee injury, and is becoming fantasy relevant in all formats. You should definitely consider starting him when the matchup is right.
Brent Celek, TE Sunday 11/1, 5:41 PM CT
Brent Celek caught four passes for 61 yards and a touchdown in the Week 8 victory over the New York Giants.

Our View: Celek, who has notched four or more receptions in six of seven games, scored his third touchdown and is a top-10 tight end in all fantasy formats.
DeSean Jackson, WR Sunday 11/1, 4:44 PM CT
DeSean Jackson reeled in three balls for 78 yards and one touchdown in the Week 8 victory over the New York Giants.

Our View: Jackson came into the game nursing a foot injury, but looked fine on the 54-yard touchdown reception in the second quarter. At this juncture, there might not be a more explosive player in the league. After eight weeks, the second-year veteran has six touchdowns averaging 50 yards in distance.
LeSean McCoy, RB Sunday 11/1, 4:38 PM CT
LeSean McCoy had 11 carries for 82 yards and one touchdown, and chipped in two receptions for 10 yards in the Week 8 beatdown of the New York Giants.

Our View: It took the rookie some time to get it going, but he busted loose on a 66-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter during garbage time. With Brian Westbrook still experiencing headaches from his concussion, McCoy could be a decent No. 2 fantasy back in Week 9 against Dallas. Keep an eye on the injury/practice report next week to see how things shake out in the Eagles backfield.
Donovan McNabb, QB Sunday 11/1, 4:25 PM CT
Donovan McNabb completed 17-of-23 passes for 240 yards with three touchdowns against zero interceptions in the Week 8 blowout victory over the New York Giants.

Our View: McNabb, who completed 73.9 percent of his passes, fumbled twice, losing one, but we won't pick nits here. Since returning from the rib injury in Week 5, he has thrown seven touchdowns against zero interceptions and has the explosive weapons in the passing game to be an every week starter.
Chris Clemons, DE Sunday 11/1, 2:45 PM CT
Chris Clemons exited the game against the New York Giants with a left shoulder injury.

Our View: Clemons will not return and no additional information is available regarding the severity of the injury.
Brian Westbrook, RB Sunday 11/1, 1:13 PM CT
Brian Westbrook (concussion) is still experiencing headaches, which led to him being inactive today against the New York Giants, according to Jay Glazer's twitter page.

Our View: Westbrook worked out this morning, but had a headache afterwards leading to the decision to inactivate the veteran runner. This is obviously not a good sign, and we expect him to be questionable for Week 9 when the Eagles host Dallas.
Brian Westbrook, RB Sunday 11/1, 10:46 AM CT
Week 8 inactives: QB Kevin Kolb (3rd), RB Brian Westbrook, DB Dmitri Patterson, OG Max Jean-Gilles, WR Kevin Curtis, DE Victor Abiamiri, and FS Macho Harris.

Our View: RB LeSean McCoy will start in place of Westbrook, who is out due to a concussion. WR Jeremy Maclin will continue to start for Kevin Curtis, who is out again due to a knee ailment. Also, LT Jason Peters (ankle, knee) and WR DeSean Jackson (foot) are active and will start. On defense, FS Macho Harris is out and is expected to be replaced in the starting lineup by Sean Jones.
Brian Westbrook, RB Sunday 11/1, 10:29 AM CT
Earlier EPSN's Adam Schefter reported that Brian Westbrook (concussion) is not expected to play today, and Jason La Canfora of the NFL Network stated he definitely will not play today on his twitter page.

Our View: We never expected the oft-injured Westbrook to play this week, but this report seems to solidify our thoughts. The official inactive lists will be dropping shortly, but look for LeSean McCoy to be the Eagles workhouse back today against the G-Men.
Trent Cole, DE Sunday 11/1, 10:20 AM CT
Defensive end Trent Cole has had remarkable success against the Giants. In 10 games, he has tallied 58 tackles, seven sacks, eight hurries, a forced fumble, and an interception returned for a touchdown, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer.

Our View: Not only does Cole have a great track record against the Giants, but he has registered at least half a sack in every game in 2009 for a total of 6.5 on the season. It goes without say that he's a must start in IDP leagues.
Brian Westbrook, RB Sunday 11/1, 7:40 AM CT
Adam Schefter of ESPN is reporting that Eagles' running back Brian Westbrook is not expected to play today due to a concussion. LeSean McCoy is expected to carry the load for the Eagles against the Giants.

Our View: Schefter says there is a chance that things could change before game-time, but for now consider Westbrook out. McCoy has a tough match-up against the Giants today, but he should get a vast majority of the carries.
