Responding to recent criticism levied by Dolphins linebacker Joey Porter, Tom Brady says he doesn't believe that he receives preferential treatment from NFL referees, according to the Boston Globe.

Our View:"I think the ref calls what he sees," he said. "I don't think I've ever influenced a call. The refs we have are very good. If they make a call on (roughing the passer), great. If they don't, that's fine." A diplomatic response from Brady - also a false one.

Sammy Morris will miss Week 9 against Miami due to his ailing knee, according to WEEI.com.

Our View:It is uncertain when Morris may be ready to return to the gridiron, and should remain held out of fantasy lineups until further notice.

Fred Taylor, RB

Fred Taylor has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Dolphins, according to WEEI Sports.

Our View:The 33-year-old vet will be missing his fourth straight game due to an ankle injury. Sammy Morris (knee) is also out, so Laurence Maroney should handle the bulk of the workload at running back.
