Nate Ness, S Tuesday 11/24, 10:23 AM CT
Less than five days after being signed, safety Nate Ness has been waived by the Dolphins, according to Adam Caplan of Scout.com.

Our View: No corresponding roster move has yet been announced.
Jason Ferguson, DT Monday 11/23, 1:57 PM CT
Edgar Thompson of the Palm Beach Post reports that Jason Ferguson will be placed on injured reserve with a quad injury.

Our View: It's the sixth player the Dolphins have had to put on IR this season, and he is the second team captain to be lost. Randy Starks and Tony McDaniel will try to fill his void at nose tackle
Jason Ferguson, DT Sunday 11/22, 7:50 AM CT
According to the South Florida Sun-Sentinel, there is a strong possibility that the Dolphins will place nose tackle Jason Ferguson on injured reserve.

Our View: Ferguson went down with a knee injury in Thursday's game against the Panthers, and it appears he may be lost for the season. Considering the fact that he's 34-years-old and in the final year of his contract, he may decide to hang up the spikes after this season. Look for Randy Starks and Tony McDaniel to pick up the slack on the field.
Jake Grove, C Friday 11/20, 9:12 AM CT
Starting Dolphins center Jake Grove was forced from the team's win over the Panthers in the third quarter on Thursday after injuring his ankle, according to the Associated Press.

Our View: His fill-in, Joe Berger, also went down with injury. The Dolphins may be inclined to bring in an extra lineman for their extra long week of preparation for Week 12.
Joe Berger, T Friday 11/20, 9:10 AM CT
Dolphins offensive lineman Joe Berger was forced from the team's win over the Panthers on Thursday with an undisclosed injury, according to the Associated Press.

Our View: He was only playing after stepping in for starting center Jake Grove, who also went down with injury. If either player is revealed to be seriously hurt in the coming days, the Dolphins may be forced to bring in an offensive lineman.
Davone Bess, WR Thursday 11/19, 10:42 PM CT
Davone Bess was the favorite target of quarterback Chad Henne on Thursday as the Dolphins beat the Panthers 24-17. Bess caught six passes for 63 yards in the win.

Our View: Bess had a solid performance tonight, but his fantasy numbers weren't great since he didn't get in the end zone. The Dolphins are going to be run-first all season, but Bess might be the best receiving option on the team right now.
Ricky Williams, RB Thursday 11/19, 10:38 PM CT
Ricky Williams filled in nicely for the injured Ronnie Brown on Thursday as the Dolphins defeated the Panthers 24-17. Williams rushed for 119 yards and two touchdowns, and he caught two passes for 19 yards and another score.

Our View: Williams made the most of his start tonight, and he looks like an excellent fantasy option going forward. With Brown out for the season, Williams should see plenty of touches in the run-heavy Dolphins' offense.
Chad Henne, QB Thursday 11/19, 10:35 PM CT
Chad Henne was 17-for-29 for 172 yards and a touchdown on Thursday as the Dolphins defeated the Panthers 24-17.

Our View: Tonight was a typical performance for Henne, as he managed the game nicely and led his team to a win. He isn't making many mistakes, but his numbers aren't overly impressive in the fantasy world.
Vernon Carey, OG Thursday 11/19, 8:15 PM CT
Dolphins offensive lineman Vernon Carey left Thursday night's game against the Panthers with a shin injury. Carey's return to the game is probable.

Our View: It doesn't look like this is anything to worry about, as he is expected to return tonight. We will monitor his status throughout the evening.
Anthony Fasano, TE Thursday 11/19, 6:15 PM CT
Miami Dolphins' Week 11 inactives: 3rd QB Tyler Thigpen, DE Paul Soliai, DE Lionel Dotson, LB Erik Walden, S Nate Ness, T Andrew Gardner, TE Anthony Fasano, T Lydon Murtha.

Our View: Joey Haynos will start in place of Fasano tonight, but he hasn't done much to warrant fantasy consideration this season anyway. Justin Smiley isn't starting, but he will be active and see some time tonight.
Nate Ness, S Thursday 11/19, 10:15 AM CT
Safety Nate Ness has been signed to the Dolphins' active roster, according to the Associated Press.

Our View: Sadly for Dolphins fans, the roster spot he is taking is that of Ronnie Brown's. Expect him to be used mostly on special teams.
Gibril Wilson, S Wednesday 11/18, 6:16 PM CT
Gibril Wilson fully practiced Wednesday, and he is probable for Thursday's game at Carolina, according to NFL.com. He has been nursing a hamstring ailment.

Our View: Wilson should be OK to employ in IDP lineups. He is among the top fantasy defensive backs when healthy.
Anthony Fasano, TE Wednesday 11/18, 6:13 PM CT
Anthony Fasano has been ruled out for Thursday's game against Carolina, according to NFL.com.

Our View: He missed his third straight day of practice Wednesday due to a hip injury. He is a quality blocker, but is not catching enough passes to be missed in fantasy leagues.
Ronnie Brown, RB Wednesday 11/18, 5:04 PM CT
Ronnie Brown has been placed on season-ending injured reserve, according to Adam Schefter's (ESPN) twitter page.

Our View: Brown was brought down by a foot injury. Ricky Williams' fantasy stock gets a boost, as he will handle the bulk of the workload as the No. 1 running back in Miami.
Ronnie Brown, RB Wednesday 11/18, 8:31 AM CT
ProFootballTalk.com is reporting that the Miami Dolphins fear that running back Ronnie Brown could be sidelined for the rest of the season due to his foot injury. Brown will see a specialist to determine to extent of the injury.

Our View: This could be a huge blow for fantasy owners. Brown has already been ruled out this week, but the assumption all along has been that this is more serious than the team has been letting on. We will continue to monitor the situation, but fantasy owners need to be aware that you may not have Brown's services for a significant amount of time.
Gibril Wilson, S Tuesday 11/17, 5:40 PM CT
Gibril Wilson was limited in Tuesday's practice while nursing a hamstring ailment, according to the Associated Press.

Our View: His status for Thursday's game at Carolina is yet to be determined. Wilson is among the most productive defensive backs in IDP leagues when healthy.
Ricky Williams, RB Tuesday 11/17, 5:35 PM CT
Ricky Williams will start Thursday at Carolina with Ronnie Brown (foot) out, according to the Associated Press.

Our View: Williams is averaging 5.3 yards per carry, and looks to be a good fantasy play against the Panthers' 25th ranked run defense.
Ronnie Brown, RB Tuesday 11/17, 4:44 PM CT
Updating an earlier report, Ronnie Brown has been officially ruled out for Thursday's game at Carolina, according to the Dolphins' official twitter page. He is dealing with a right foot injury.

Our View: The fantasy stock of Ricky Williams goes up for the week, as he should handle the bulk of the workload at running back against the Panthers' 25th ranked run defense.
Anthony Fasano, TE Tuesday 11/17, 4:40 PM CT
Anthony Fasano missed practice for the second straight day Tuesday. He is dealing with a hip injury.

Our View: Fasano missed Week 10, and his odds of playing Thursday against Carolina do not look good as of now. Either way, he does not hold much fantasy value with just 14 receptions and one touchdown so far this season.
Chad Pennington, QB Tuesday 11/17, 4:23 PM CT
Chad Pennington has started rehab following season-ending shoulder surgery, according to ESPN. He will meet with Dr. James Andrews tomorrow, and they will discuss a program for the next six weeks.

Our View: Pennington will wait until March before deciding if he will attempt a comeback, or hang up his cleats. It will depend on how he feels and how his shoulder respeonds. He would have to battle Chad Henne for the starting gig in 2010 if he remains with Miami.
Joey Porter, LB Tuesday 11/17, 1:54 PM CT
Dolphins' beat writer Mike Berardino is reporting on Twitter that linebacker Joey Porter will play Thursday night against the Panthers. Coach Tony Sparano said that Porter will likely get the start in the game.

Our View: This contradicts a report yesterday by ESPN that Porter would be inactive this week. Sparano said Porter will play, so expect him to be in there when the Phins take the field Thursday.
Ronnie Brown, RB Tuesday 11/17, 8:50 AM CT
The South Florida Sun-Sentinel is reporting that Dolphins' running back Ronnie Brown will likely miss Thursday's game as he deals with foot issues. Brown is unable to walk without the assistance of crutches, and the injury is a bit more serious than the medical staff originally thought.

Our View: The news just keeps getting worse for Brown owners. He might visit a specialist over the next few days, and he could miss more than one game depending on the diagnosis. We will continue to monitor the situation, but have another back ready to go this week.
Joey Porter, LB Monday 11/16, 7:55 PM CT
Updating an earlier report, Joey Porter is not expected to play Thursday against Carolina, according to Chris Mortensen of ESPN.

Our View: There is also belief that Porter will be inactive indefinitely, as he has been struggling and Cameron Wake and Charlie Anderson have been doing well. It is understandable if Porter does not start, but it does seems odd that he will not be playing at all.
Anthony Fasano, TE Monday 11/16, 4:28 PM CT
Anthony Fasano did not practice Monday, according to Omar Kelly's (Sun-Sentinel) twitter page.

Our View: Fasano did not play in Week 10 with a hip injury, and is uncertain to return Thursday at Carolina. The coaches like Fasano, but he only has 14 receptions for 113 yards and one touchdown over eight games.
Ronnie Brown, RB Monday 11/16, 1:00 PM CT
In addition to Ronnie Brown's ankle injury, Fox Sports' Jay Glazer reports that the Dolphins are "most concerned with" a foot ailment he is dealing with.

Our View: Bad news if you are an owner, and something that makes it sound like that he is all but for sure not going to play on Thursday. Ricky Williams is expected to man the wildcat in his potential absence.
Joey Porter, LB Monday 11/16, 10:24 AM CT
Joey Porter is expected to be at Dolphins practice on Monday after being inactive for the team's narrow victory over the Bucs on Sunday, according to NFL.com.

Our View: After he laid a huge egg against the Patriots in Week 9, he was apparently granted permission during the practice week to go home and rest his knee. Only he didn't go home. It has not been revealed where he spent his time "resting," but his destination obviously perturbed the team. He should be active in Week 11.
Ronnie Brown, RB Monday 11/16, 8:12 AM CT
After spraining his ankle on Sunday, Ronnie Brown is not expected to play when the Dolphins take on the Panthers on Thursday night, according to the Miami Herald.

Our View: It sounds like he would have been able to go were the game not during a short week, but as it is right now, he simply doesn't have enough time to heal. This means more Ricky Williams rushes, and more Pat White out of the wildcat.
Ronnie Brown, RB Sunday 11/15, 9:26 PM CT
Updating an earlier report, Ronnie Brown's X-rays on his injured right ankle came back negative, according to Armando Salguero's (Miami Herald) twitter page.

Our View: Brown is sporting crutches, but the ankle is not fractured. The star running back will undergo more tests Monday.
Channing Crowder, LB Sunday 11/15, 3:52 PM CT
Linebacker Channing Crowder piled up nine solo tackles and a sack in the Week 10 win over the Bucs. He missed the previous two games due to a shoulder injury.

Our View: Crowder has been an IDP bust this season, but this performance may give his owners a little hope.
Ted Ginn, WR Sunday 11/15, 3:39 PM CT
Ted Ginn returned to the starting lineup in Week 10, but he finished with zero catches against the Buccaneers. He did run once for zero yards, return five kickoffs, and handle one punt.

Our View: Ginn now has 19 catches through nine games this season. Can we be done with the guy at this point?
Ricky Williams, RB Sunday 11/15, 3:34 PM CT
Ricky Williams rushed 20 times for 102 yards and caught two passes for five yards in the Dolphins' Week 10 win over the Buccaneers.

Our View: Williams padded his numbers after Ronnie Brown hurt his ankle in the third quarter. Ricky's role could expand greatly if Ronnie's ailment is serious.
Ronnie Brown, RB Sunday 11/15, 2:30 PM CT
Omar Kelly of the South Florida Sun-Sentinel confirms that Ronnie Brown injured his right ankle in Week 10, not his knee. His return is questionable.

Our View: Brown ruined his right knee in 2007, so it's some consolation that this injury is to his ankle. We don't know any more details at this point.
Ronnie Brown, RB Sunday 11/15, 2:24 PM CT
Ronnie Brown was helped off the field in the third quarter of the Week 10 game against the Buccaneers. He appeared to injure his right leg, and the ailment may be serious, Omar Kelly of the South Florida Sun-Sentinel tweets.

Our View: We'll update Brown's status when more is known. For the record, it was his right knee that he tore up in 2007. It may be his foot that he injured this time, though.
Donald Thomas, OG Sunday 11/15, 1:28 PM CT
Guard Donald Thomas injured his neck during the first half of the Week 10 game against the Bucs, but he is expected to return, Omar Kelly of the South Florida Sun-Senitel tweets.

Our View: The Dolphins are already playing without starting left guard Justin Smiley, and Thomas starts on the other side. The good news is that this does not sound serious.
Tyler Thigpen, QB Sunday 11/15, 11:02 AM CT
Week 10 inactives: QB Tyler Thigpen (3rd), TE Anthony Fasano, OG Justin Smiley, LB Erik Walden, OT Andrew Gardner, LB Joey Porter, RB Kory Sheets, DT Paul Soliai.

Our View: The Dolphins are benching Porter this week, which isn't good news for fantasy owners who are using their team defense. The offense will miss Smiley, but that injury shouldn't stop people from using Ronnie Brown. Joey Haynos will start in place of Fasano, and Ted Ginn has replaced Brian Hartline as a starting receiver.
Anthony Fasano, TE Sunday 11/15, 10:52 AM CT
Anthony Fasano (hip) is inactive for the Week 10 game against the Buccaneers. Joey Haynos will start in his place.

Our View: Fasano has had a disappointing season, and fantasy owners won't miss him. Haynos has scored in two straight games, but he is no more than a flier again this Sunday.
Ted Ginn, WR Sunday 11/15, 10:47 AM CT
Ted Ginn has regained his starting and will replace Brian Hartline in Week 10, Omar Kelly of the South Florida Sun-Sentinel tweets.

Our View: This news doesn't mean fantasy owners should start trusting Ginn. The Dolphins offense should have a successful day against the Bucs, but Ginn still isn't a safe play.
Joey Porter, LB Saturday 11/14, 4:10 PM CT
Joey Porter will not play in Sunday's home game against the Buccaneers, according to the Miami Herald.

Our View: His knee is OK, but coach Tony Sparano decided to hold him out. Porter has not been performing well, and perhaps benching him will motivate him to get on track.
Anthony Fasano, TE Friday 11/13, 11:47 PM CT
Anthony Fasano was limited in Friday's practice, according to NFL.com. He is dealing with a hip ailment.

Our View: Fasano is questionable for Sunday's game against the Buccaneers. He is not getting enough targets in the Dolphins' passing game to be missed in fantasy leagues if unable to play.
Joey Porter, LB Friday 11/13, 11:28 PM CT
Joey Porter fully practiced Friday and is probable for Sunday's game against Tampa Bay, according to NFL.com. He has been nursing a knee ailment.

Our View: Porter is expected to play, but is not a good fantasy option - as he only chipped in a half sack and four tackles over his last four games.
J.D. Folsom, LB Friday 11/13, 10:44 AM CT
J.D. Folsom has been released by the Dolphins.

Our View: He was with the team for less than a week. He will almost certainly end up back on Miami's practice squad.
Justin Smiley, G Thursday 11/12, 3:32 PM CT
According to the Palm Beach Post, left guard Justin Smiley has been sent to see a specialist regarding his shoulder injury.

Our View: Smiley has had two surgeries on his ailing right shoulder in the past two years, and heading to see a specialist is never a good sign. If he misses any significant amount of time the Dolphins would really be hurting, as they rely heavily on the run and Smiley has been the team's best run-blocker. Ronnie Brown and Ricky Williams would stand to suffer the most.
Patrick Turner, WR Thursday 11/12, 8:50 AM CT
According to the South Florida Sun-Sentinel, Dolphins coach Tony Sparano wants to get No. 5 wide receiver Patrick Turner involved in the offense.

Our View: The Dolphins only like to carry four receivers, but the four they've chosen have been so anemic that Sparano wants to add a new face. Turner, a third-round pick out of USC, is a big wideout at 6'5, 220 and could be a nice red zone target for Chad Henne. Don't expect fantasy production this year, but if he develops he may be a nice sleeper next season.
Anthony Fasano, TE Wednesday 11/11, 4:09 PM CT
Anthony Fasano was limited in Wednesday's practice, according to NFL.com. He is nursing a hip ailment.

Our View: Fasano is a favorite among Miami's coaches, but he does not catch enough passes to be a factor in fantasy leagues.
Joey Porter, LB Wednesday 11/11, 11:06 AM CT
Miami linebacker Joey Porter sat out practice on Wednesday due to a sore hamstring, according to the South Florida-Sentinel. Porter has been nursing the injury since Week 2 of the season.

Our View: Porter has apparently regressed in the last week, and his status for the game against the Bucs on Sunday is very much in question. Considering he finished last week's game with zeros in all statistical categories, he shouldn't be missed to badly if he can't go.
Jason Ferguson, DT Wednesday 11/11, 11:02 AM CT
The South Florida Sun-Sentinel is reporting that Dolphins' defensive tackle Jason Ferguson practiced with the team on Wednesday. Ferguson missed last week's game with an elbow injury.

Our View: Paul Soliai, Ferguson's replacement last week, missed practice today, so the Dolphins are glad to have him back. He is expected to be fine for this week's game against the Bucs.
Channing Crowder, LB Wednesday 11/11, 11:00 AM CT
Channing Crowder returned to practice for the Dolphins on Wednesday, according to the South Florida Sun-Sentinel.

Our View: Crowder missed last week's game with a shoulder injury, but it looks like he should be good to go this week. The Dolphins are relying on him, as they are starting to get hit hard by injuries, especially on the defensive side of the ball.
Joey Porter, LB Monday 11/9, 8:21 AM CT
After the Patriots beat the Dolphins in New England on Sunday, the home scoreboard reportedly showed a dejected Joey Porter standing on the sidelines while flashing his stats from the game beneath his image: zero tackles, zero sacks, according to the Miami Herald. Porter had made lengthy negative comments about the franchise in the run-up to the game.

Our View: Because this is the sort of thing a championship franchise needs to be doing. Porter runs his mouth before every game, and usually does nothing more than heighten interest. For a team that supposedly does all things the "right way," this was a puzzlingly classless move.
Ricky Williams, RB Sunday 11/8, 5:02 PM CT
Ricky Williams notched seven carries for 33 yards and a touchdown in the Week 9 loss at New England.

Our View: Williams only has 24 carries in the last three games, but he has scored four touchdowns during this period and now has seven touchdowns on the season.
Ronnie Brown, RB Sunday 11/8, 4:57 PM CT
Ronnie Brown had 15 carries for 48 yards and completed 1-of-2 passes for a one-yard touchdown pass in the Week 9 loss to New England.

Our View: It wasn't exactly pretty performance but we'll take a touchdown anyway we can get it. Brown also chipped in two receptions for 16 yards, and has totaled six scores in the last five games.
Vontae Davis, CB Sunday 11/8, 12:59 PM CT
Vontae Davis exited the game at New England in the first quarter with a quad injury, according to Mike Reiss' twitter page.

Our View: Davis is questionable to return, and will be replaced by either Nathan Jones or Jason Allen.
Tyler Thigpen, QB Sunday 11/8, 10:58 AM CT
Week 9 inactives: QB Tyler Thigpen (3rd), LB Channing Crowder, DT Jason Ferguson, WR Pat Turner, LB Quentin Moses, OT Lydon Murtha, RB Kory Sheets, and OT Andrew Gardner.

Our View: LB Reggie Torber will start for Crowder, who is inactive due to a shoulder injury. The Dolphins have a clean bill of health on the offensive side of the football.
Ronnie Brown, RB Sunday 11/8, 7:59 AM CT
Ronnie Brown is becoming a more capable thrower out of the wildcat, according to the South Florida Sun-Sentinel.

Our View: This is great news for Brown as a runner, as the more accomplished of a thrower he becomes, the more honest he keeps the defense. Albeit an unusual one, Brown is a borderline RB1 option in most leagues this season.
J.D. Folsom, LB Saturday 11/7, 7:00 PM CT
According to the team's official website, the Miami Dolphins have signed linebacker J.D. Folsom off the practice squad to the active roster. The team released linebacker William Kershaw to make room on the roster.

Our View: Folsom is a rookie who was a seventh-round pick by the team this season, and he doesn't figure to be a factor on the defense this week. The team needed some depth at the position with Channing Crowder out, but Folsom will likely be relegated to special teams duty against the Pats on Sunday.
Jason Ferguson, DT Saturday 11/7, 6:21 PM CT
According to the Twitter page of Dolphins' writer Edgar Thompson, defensive tackle Jason Ferguson has been ruled out of Sunday's game. Ferguson is dealing with an elbow injury.

Our View: Ferguson was listed as doubtful, but he won't be available to the team this weekend. It looks like Paul Soliai will go in his place, but losing Ferguson will hurt the Dolphins against the Pats.
Channing Crowder, LB Saturday 11/7, 6:11 PM CT
Dolphins' linebacker Channing Crowder has been ruled out of Sunday's contest against the Patriots, according to the Twitter page of beat writer Edgar Thompson. Crowder is still recovering from a shoulder injury.

Our View: Crowder was originally listed as doubtful for the game, but the team has decided to officially rule him out. It looks like he should be able to go next week, but we will monitor his ability to practice as next week progresses.
Jason Ferguson, DT Friday 11/6, 4:11 PM CT
Jason Ferguson (elbow) is doubtful for Week 9, accoring to FOX Sports.

Our View: Paul Soliai would start at nose tackle if needed. Soliai lacks the experience of Ferguson, but he is massive at 6-4, 355 pounds.
Channing Crowder, LB Friday 11/6, 4:07 PM CT
Channing Crowder is doubtful for Sunday's game at New England, according to FOX Sports.

Our View: Crowder is still recovering from a shoulder injury. Reggie Torbor replaced him at inside linebacker in Week 8, and would make another start in his absence on Sunday.
Jason Ferguson, DT Thursday 11/5, 4:33 PM CT
Jason Ferguson practiced for the second straight day Thursday, according to the Palm Beach Post. He has been dealing with a foot ailment.

Our View: The 34-year-old vet is yet to miss a game this season, and should be ready to go for Sunday's AFC East showdown at New England. Ferguson holds little value for IDP leagues, but is a quality nose tackle for Miami.
Channing Crowder, LB Thursday 11/5, 4:29 PM CT
Channing Crowder practiced for the second straight day Thursday, according to the Palm Beach Post.

Our View: Crowder missed Week 8 with a shoulder injury, but should have a chance to return Sunday at New England if he practices tomorrow without a problem. He is a good playmaker for Miami when healthy.
Ted Ginn, WR Thursday 11/5, 9:38 AM CT
The Palm Beach Post is reporting that Dolphins' coach Tony Sparano has told Ted Ginn that the receiver will have a chance to win back his starting job. Ginn lost his job to rookie Brian Hartline before last week's game.

Our View: The problem here is that consistency is what is going to get Ginn his job back, and that has been the main thing he has struggled with over his career. He has the ability to make a great play or to have a great day, but he just isn't able to put it together over a long period of time.
Jason Ferguson, DT Wednesday 11/4, 5:13 PM CT
Jason Ferguson was limited in practice today while nursing an elbow ailment, according to the Patriots' official website.

Our View: He was previously dealing with a foot ailment. Ferguson is 34 and his skills are on the decline, but he is still a serviceable defensive tackle for Miami.
Channing Crowder, LB Wednesday 11/4, 4:09 PM CT
Channing Crowder returned to practice Wednesday after missing Week 8 with a shoulder injury, according to ESPN.

Our View: Crowder should have good odds of playing Sunday at New England if he can practice through the rest of the week without any issues with his shoulder. He is a good inside linebacker when healthy.
John Nalbone, TE Tuesday 11/3, 5:01 PM CT
The Dolphins signed John Nalbone to their practice squad, according to Aaron Wilson of the National Football Post.

Our View: Nalbone could develop into a quality tight end in the NFL, but currently holds no fantasy value while providing emergency depth on the practice squad.
Ted Ginn, WR Monday 11/2, 7:52 PM CT
The Palm Beach Post is reporting that, despite his huge game returning the ball on Sunday, that wide receiver Ted Ginn will not get his starting spot back on offense. The Dolphins like the lineup they used over the weekend, and they won't make any adjustments at the position.

Our View: Ginn looked explosive in the return game, but he still finished with zero catches in just 16 offensive plays. It looks like he will be more of a return specialist than anything going forward, so it's not looking good for his fantasy value.
Ted Ginn, WR Monday 11/2, 10:10 AM CT
After an apparent demotion on offense, Ted Ginn responded on Sunday by returning two kickoffs for touchdowns.

Our View: Ginn had zero catches, but six kickoff returns for 299 yards in the Dolphins' narrow win over the Jets. He also became the first player in league history to have two 100-yard plus kickoff return touchdowns in the same game. It's unclear if his huge special teams day will get him back into the starting lineup on offense, but if your league places any sort of a premium on returns, Ginn is your new man.
Ricky Williams, RB Sunday 11/1, 4:22 PM CT
Ricky Williams had eight carries for 27 rushing yards in today's 30-25 win at the Jets. He also caught two passes for 41 receiving yards.

Our View: Williams led the Dolphins in receiving, and had 68 total yards. He was able to play through his thumb injury, but performed below expectations for fantasy owners. He was averaging 90 total yards per game heading into the battle.
Chad Henne, QB Sunday 11/1, 4:17 PM CT
Chad Henne completed 12-of-21 passes for 112 yards in Sunday's 30-25 win at the Jets. He threw one touchdown pass with no interceptions.

Our View: Henne did enough to lead the Dolphins to a tough road win, but did not do much for fantasy owners. He has thrown one or less touchdown passes in three of his last four starts.
Brian Hartline, WR Sunday 11/1, 11:45 AM CT
Brian Hartline will start at receiver over Ted Ginn Jr., according to the Sun Sentinel.

Our View: Ginn has not been performing up to expectations, and rookie Hartline will get a chance to prove his worth as a starter today. Hartline has good speed but lacks polish, and isn't a recommended fantasy option against a tough New York defense on their home turf.
Channing Crowder, LB Sunday 11/1, 10:45 AM CT
Dolphins inactives: Tyler Thigpen (3rd QB), RB Kory Sheets, ILB Channing Crowder, T Andrew Gardner, DE Lionel Dotson, T Lydon Murtha, WR Patrick Turner, LB Quentin Moses.

Our View: The only significant absence is star linebacker Channing Crowder. He will be replaced by Reggie Torbor.
Reggie Torbor, LB Sunday 11/1, 9:50 AM CT
Reggie Torbor is expected to start at inside linebacker in place of the injured Channing Crowder (shoulder), according to the Miami Herald.

Our View: Torbor is a very good backup linebacker, and is worth a look as a flier if you need help in IDP leagues. He could be productive against a solid Jets running team.
John Nalbone, TE Sunday 11/1, 7:36 AM CT
The South Florida Sun-Sentinel is reporting that the Dolphins will look to add tight end John Nalbone to the practice aquad if he clears waivers on Monday. The team released Nalbone, rookie out of Monmouth, on Saturday.

Our View: The Dolphins like Nalbone's pass-catching ability, so it wouldn't be a surprise if he ended up on the practice squad. It doesn't seem highly likely that he will be claimed, but we should know tomorrow.
