Allen Barbre, OT Friday 11/20, 4:58 PM CT
According to the team's official injury report, Packers' offensive tackle Allen Barbre is listed as doubtful for Sunday's game against the 49ers. Barbre missed practice on Friday with an ankle injury.

Our View: It's not looking good for Barbre this weekend, which is not good news for the Packers. Barbre has struggled at times this year, but the team still needs all bodies available going against a solid Niners' defense.
Scott Wells, C Friday 11/20, 4:31 PM CT
Packers' center Scott Wells returned to practice on Friday after missing Thursday with concussion-like symptoms, according to the team's official website. Wells is expected to play Sunday against the 49ers.

Our View: Wells didn't practice yesterday after experiencing some headaches, but he was back in full today and is expected to start this weekend. This is excelent news for the Packers, who can't afford to be without starters on their already depleted offensive line.
Jermichael Finley, TE Friday 11/20, 3:56 PM CT
Jermichael Finley (knee) is expected to play this Sunday, according to Adam Caplan of Scout.com.

Our View: Finley sounds like he's finally returning after missing three straight games. He hasn't been a frequent target of Aaron Rodgers this season, and that isn't likely to change in a game where he will no doubt be rusty.
Mark Tauscher, G Friday 11/20, 12:06 PM CT
After missing Week 10, Mark Tauscher (knee) will start at right tackle for the Packers this weekend, according to Greg A. Bedard of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

Our View: The team has admitted he might not last the whole game. He will be stiffly tested by a solid San Francisco defense.
Charles Woodson, CB Thursday 11/19, 8:33 PM CT
Packers' defensive back Charles Woodson returned to full practice on Thursday, according to the Green Bay Press-Gazette. Woodson will play this weekend despite his hip injury.

Our View: Woodson will be fine this week, and there is no reason to think he will be limited by the hip at all. Woodson is having an excellent season, as he has made 44 tackles, one sack, forced three fumbles, and made five interceptions, returning one for a touchdown.
Charles Woodson, CB Wednesday 11/18, 12:28 PM CT
Packers' cornerback Charles Woodson did not practice with the team on Wednesday, according to the Twitter page of beat writer Pete Dougherty. Woodson is dealing with a hip ailment that has plagued him much of the season.

Our View: Woodson has been sitting out most of the team's practices, but he is always ready to play at a high level on Sunday. He has 44 tackles, five picks, and a touchdown this season, so he should continue to produce.
Aaron Kampman, LB Wednesday 11/18, 12:23 PM CT
As expected, Packers' linebacker Aaron Kampman practiced with the team on Wednesday, according to the Twitter page of beat writer Pete Dougherty. Kampman is expected to return to action this week after missing the team's last game with a concussion.

Our View: Kampman should be good to go this week, which will be a big boost to the Packers' defense. We will update again if anything changes, but expect him to play.
Jake Allen, WR Wednesday 11/18, 9:31 AM CT
The Green Bay Packers have waived wide receiver Jake Allen, according to NFL writer Adam Caplan. Allen was no longer needed now that Jordy Nelson is healthy again.

Our View: Allen spend the first part of the season on the practice squad, and he could be destined to be heading back. He isn't anything more than organizational depth, so fantasy owners need not be concerned.
Greg Jennings, WR Tuesday 11/17, 12:14 PM CT
Packers' wide receiver Greg Jennings is expected to miss practice time this week with a knee contusion, according to the Green Bay Press-Gazette. Jennings is expected to play this week against the Niners.

Our View: Jennings will probably be limited during practice, and the team might even choose to hold him out for a day or two. We still expect him to go this week, but stay tuned for more updates.
Aaron Kampman, LB Tuesday 11/17, 11:58 AM CT
According to the Green Bay Press-Gazette, Packers' linebacker Aaron Kampman is expected to return this week. Kampman missed last week's win over the Cowboys with a concussion.

Our View: The Packers' defense was outstanding last week, and they will get one of their best players back this week. Kampman has 38 tackles and 2.5 sacks on the season, so his return is huge for this team.
Donald Driver, WR Sunday 11/15, 8:22 PM CT
Donald Driver led the Packers with four catches for 50 yards in Sunday's 17-7 win over Dallas at Lambeau Field.

Our View: Driver was Green Bay's top receiver, but did not do much to help fantasy owners. He averages 61 receiving yards over his last three games.
Ryan Grant, RB Sunday 11/15, 8:16 PM CT
Ryan Grant rushed for 79 yards on 19 carries in today's 17-7 win over the Cowboys at Lambeau Field. He also caught two passes for eight receiving yards.

Our View: Grant had a decent outing, and left a bit to be desired for fantasy owners. He only topped 100 rushing yards once this season, and will have another tough matchup in Week 11 against the 49ers.
Aaron Rodgers, QB Sunday 11/15, 8:12 PM CT
Aaron Rodgers got the job done in today's 17-7 win over the Cowboys at Lambeau Field, as he completed 25-of-36 passes for 189 yards with one touchdown and no interceptions.

Our View: Rodgers led the Packers to a tough win, but did not do much to help fantasy owners. He had his six-game streak snapped of throwing multiple touchdown passes.
Daryn Colledge, T Sunday 11/15, 4:27 PM CT
Daryn Colledge exited the game against Dallas in the second quarter with an ankle injury.

Our View: With Aaron Rodgers being sacked at an alarming rate, the Packers can ill afford to lose anymore offensive linemen. Rookie Evan Dietrich-Smith has replaced Colledge at left guard.
Aaron Kampman, LB Sunday 11/15, 1:59 PM CT
Week 10 inactives: LB Aaron Kampman, LB Brandon Chillar, TE Jermichael Finley, LB Brady Poppinga, OL Mark Tauscher, WR Biren Ealy, FB Quinn Johnson, and OT Breno Giacomini.

Our View: As expected, QB Aaron Rodgers (foot) is active and will start, while WR Jordy Nelson (knee) returns as the No. 4 receiver. On defense, CB Charles Woodson (hip) is active and will start.
Brad Jones, LB Saturday 11/14, 1:10 PM CT
Packers' 2009 seventh-round pick Brad Jones is expected to start at left outside linebacker this Sunday in place of the injured Aaron Kampman, according to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel. Jones had five tackles thus far in his NFL career.

Our View: Kampman and Brady Poppinga are both out, so the Packers are really getting thin at linebacker. Jones has the potential to be a nice player, but he doesn't look to be ready to be an every down player.
Aaron Rodgers, QB Friday 11/13, 4:45 PM CT
According to the Dallas Morning News, Aaron Rodgers (toe) is listed as probable for Sunday's game against the Cowboys.

Our View: Rodgers has been dealing with the toe issue since last week, so there's no reason to expect that it would limit him in Sunday's game. He's currently the top ranked fantasy quarterback, so start him with confidence and expect him to produce quality numbers once again in Week 10.
Jordy Nelson, WR Friday 11/13, 3:55 PM CT
Jordy Nelson (knee) is set to return to the Packers lineup this weekend, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

Our View: He will serve as the team's fourth receiver, though his real impact will come in the kick return game.
Mark Tauscher, G Friday 11/13, 1:32 PM CT
Mark Tauscher (knee) is out for Week 10, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel's Greg A. Bedard.

Our View: Just what the Packers' embattled offensive line needed. Expect Aaron Rodgers to be under even more pressure than usual.
Aaron Kampman, LB Friday 11/13, 1:28 PM CT
Updating an earlier item, Aaron Kampman (concussion) has been formally ruled out for this Sunday, according to Greg A. Bedard of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

Our View: Brad Jones will indeed be the man for the Packers at left outside linebacker.
Jermichael Finley, TE Friday 11/13, 1:13 PM CT
Jermichael Finley (knee) will be out this Sunday against the Cowboys, according to Greg A. Bedard of the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel.

Our View: This will be the third straight game Finely has missed. In the six games in which he's appeared, he has caught 17 balls for 260 yards and one touchdown.
Aaron Kampman, LB Friday 11/13, 11:23 AM CT
Aaron Kampman (consussion) did not participate in Packers practice on Friday, and is not expected to play this weekend against the Cowboys, according to Greg A. Bedard of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

Our View: Brad Jones is expected to start in his place at left outside linebacker on Sunday.
T.J. Lang, OT Thursday 11/12, 5:14 PM CT
Rookie offensive lineman T.J. Lang worked with the first team at practice on Thursday, according to the Green Bay Press-Gazette. Lang could start this week if Allen Barbre and Mark Tauscher are both forced to miss.

Our View: The Packers have the worst O-line in football, so losing Tauscher and Barbre would be bad news. Lang is only a rookie, so it looks like Aaron Rodgers will continue to spend plenty of time on his back this week.
Mark Tauscher, G Thursday 11/12, 5:08 PM CT
The Green Bay Press-Gazette is reporting that offensive lineman Mark Tauscher was sidelined again on Thursday due to his knee injury. Tauscher is doubtful for Sunday's game.

Our View: It doesn't look like Tauscher will be able to go this week, as his knee isn't in great shape. Look for him to sit this week, and the team will remain thin on the offensive line.
Charles Woodson, CB Thursday 11/12, 5:01 PM CT
Packers' cornerback Charles Woodson participated in practice on Thursday despite a hip injury, according to the Green Bay Press-Gazette. Woodson is expected to play in the team's Week 10 game.

Our View: Woodson has been dealing with this hip issue for much of the season, and it hasn't slowed him down at all. He has 35 tackles and four picks this season, including a touchdown.
Aaron Rodgers, QB Thursday 11/12, 2:39 PM CT
According to Tom Pelissero on Twitter, Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers (toe) practiced in full on Thursday.

Our View: Rodgers dealt with the toe issue last week as well and still played effectively in the game against the Bucs. Expect him to do the same Sunday as the number-one ranked fantasy quarterback faces off against the Cowboys in Week 10.
Jermichael Finley, TE Thursday 11/12, 12:54 PM CT
According to Tom Pelissero on Twitter, Jermichael Finley did not practice on Thursday due to his lingering knee injury.

Our View: Finley is itching to play, but it seems doctors are being overly cautious with his ailment. He hasn't yet received medical clearance, so despite his frustration and willingness to play, he'll likely be inactive again in Week 10.
Aaron Rodgers, QB Wednesday 11/11, 3:04 PM CT
Packers' quarterback Aaron Rodgers was limited in practice on Wednesday while nursing his foot injury, according to the Twitter page of beat writer Tom Pelissero. Rodgers is expected to be fine for the team's Week 10 game.

Our View: Rodgers has been getting some time off over the last few weeks of practice, but there is no reason to think he won't play. He is coming off a tough outing against the Bucs, so look for the top fantasy QB to have a bounce-back week against the Cowboys.
Aaron Kampman, LB Monday 11/9, 6:54 PM CT
Updating a previous report, Packers' linebacker Aaron Kampman played most of Sunday's game with a concussion, according to NFL.com. Kampman suffered the injury just four plays into the game, and he did not leave until the fourth quarter.

Our View: Kampman wasn't feeling well on Monday, and he divulged that he took a hit to the side of the head early on in Sunday's loss. His status for this week is unknown, so we will keep you updated throughout the week.
Jermichael Finley, TE Monday 11/9, 4:46 PM CT
Packers' tight end Jermichael Finley tested his right knee again on Monday and said he is 50-50 to play in the team's Week 10 game against the Cowboys, according to the Green Bay Press-Gazette. Finley will attempt to practice with the team later in the week.

Our View: Finley said he didn't feel anything in the knee and that the doctors are just being cautious, but his status for this week will still be in question until later this week. It looks like he could be available, but we will know more after a few practices.
James Jones, WR Sunday 11/8, 4:43 PM CT
James Jones was a standout for the Packers in today's 38-28 loss at Tampa Bay, as he hauled in four receptions for a game-high 103 yards and a touchdown. His score covered 74 yards on a strike from quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

Our View: The third-year receiver topped 100 yards for the first time in 2009. He could see more targets following today's strong showing, but his fantasy value will remain limited as long as Greg Jennings and Donald Driver remain intact as the top options.
Ryan Grant, RB Sunday 11/8, 4:39 PM CT
Ryan Grant ran hard in today's 38-28 loss at Tampa Bay, as he bruised his way to 96 yards and a touchdown on 21 carries. He did not have any receptions.

Our View: Grant exploited the Buccaneers' weak run defense today, and he reached at least 90 rushing yards in three of his last four games.
Aaron Rodgers, QB Sunday 11/8, 4:34 PM CT
Aaron Rodgers was off target in Sunday's 38-28 loss at Tampa Bay, as he only completed 17-of-35 passes for 266 yards, with two touchdowns and three interceptions. He also rushed three times for 26 yards and a touchdown.

Our View: Rodgers threw three interceptions in a tough loss, but still managed to be productive for fantasy owners - especially in those few that don't penalize for mistakes. Rodgers has thrown multiple touchdown passes in six straight games, with a total of 14 over the span.
Aaron Kampman, LB Sunday 11/8, 3:09 PM CT
Aaron Kampman suffered an apparent head injury during today's battle at Tampa Bay, according to Tom Pelissero's (Green Bay Press-Gazette) twitter page.

Our View: Brady Poppinga replaced him in the lineup. Stay tuned for updates regarding the severity of the injury.
Mark Tauscher, G Sunday 11/8, 2:05 PM CT
Mark Tauscher exited the game at Tampa Bay in the third quarter with a knee injury

Our View: Tauscher, who has been nursing a surgically-repaired left knee, is not expected to return.
Jermichael Finley, TE Sunday 11/8, 11:06 AM CT
Packers inactives: TE Jermichael Finley, WR Jordy Nelson, FB Korey Hall, LB Brandon Chillar, SS Derrick Martin, WR Jake Allen and DE Jarius Wynn.

Our View: Donald Driver is active and will start at Tampa Bay. Finley will miss the game due to his knee injury.
Biren Ealy, WR Saturday 11/7, 7:21 PM CT
The Green Bay Packers have signed wide receiver Biren Ealy from the practice squad to the active roster, according to the Green Bay Press-Gazette. Ealy will assume the vacated roster spot of injured offensive lineman Jason Spitz.

Our View: Ealy will provide some insurance for the team after Donald Driver missed time this week with a stinger. He doesn't figure to make much of an impact this week, and it will likely take some serious injuries for Ealy to get significant time.
Jason Spitz, C Saturday 11/7, 7:18 PM CT
The Green Bay Press-Gazette is reporting that the Packers have placed starting center Jason Spitz on injured reserve, ending his 2009 season. Spitz is dealing with a lower back injury.

Our View: This is awful news for a team that is already struggling mightily on the offensive line. He hadn't played since October 5, but this means the team won't be getting any help on the line any time soon. Aaron Rodgers better get used to being on his back, because there doesn't look like much relief in sight.
Donald Driver, WR Friday 11/6, 12:52 PM CT
Donald Driver was a full participant in practice on Friday and appears ready to play this weekend against the Buccaneers, according to Greg Bedard of the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel.

Our View: Driver should be a fine play this weekend. He has been Aaron Rodgers' top target this season and has a fantasy friendly matchup in Tampa Bay.
Aaron Rodgers, QB Friday 11/6, 12:47 PM CT
Greg Bedard of the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel reports that Aaron Rodgers practiced on Friday and appears ready to start this weekend against the Buccaneers.

Our View: Rodgers had missed the previous to practices with a sprained foot that he suffered last Sunday. He remains a very strong start in Tampa Bay this weekend.
Ahman Green, RB Thursday 11/5, 9:40 PM CT
According to the Green Bay Press-Gazette, Ahman Green will split his kickoff return duties this week.

Our View: Green's already very limited fantasy value now takes another hit. He managed just 20 yards on 7 returns last week in his returnman debut, and the 32-year-old will now split opportunities with Brandon Jackson and Tramon Williams. Steer clear of Green in all fantasy formats.
Donald Driver, WR Thursday 11/5, 1:44 PM CT
The Green Bay Press-Gazette is reporting that Packers' wide receiver Donald Driver was held out of practice again on Thursday. Driver's status for the team's next game is unknown.

Our View: Head coach Mike McCarthy said Driver will likely play this week even if he can't practice tomorrow, but we would be very discouraged if he misses again. Monitor his situation for the rest of the week, as his status will likely come down to game time.
Aaron Rodgers, QB Thursday 11/5, 1:41 PM CT
Aaron Rodgers sat out practice for the second consecutive day on Thursday, according to the Green Bay Press-Gazette.

Our View: The team expects Rodgers to do some work on Friday, and he should be fine for Sunday's game. He has an excellent match-up against the Bucs this weekend, so fantasy owners should get him in the lineup.
Mark Tauscher, G Thursday 11/5, 9:48 AM CT
According to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel, offensive lineman Mark Tauscher is expected to start at right tackle for the Packers against the Bucs this week. Tauscher took the majority of the first-team snaps from starter Allen Barbre in practice on Wednesday.

Our View: The Packers have allowed league-leading 31 sacks this season, so an offensive line shake-up certainly can't make matters worse. Tauscher is a veteran who has plenty of experience, and he should help out the struggling line.
Chad Clifton, T Wednesday 11/4, 1:05 PM CT
According to Greg A. Bedard on Twitter, lineman Chad Clifton took all of the snaps at left tackle in Wednesday's practice and is likely to return to action in Week 9.

Our View: Clifton has been out with a high ankle sprain for the last three straight games, but looks ready to regain his starting job. The Pack could certainly use him, as their offensive line has been terrible this season, especially after Jared Allen tore apart fill-in T.J. Lang in the heart-breaking Week 8 loss to Minnesota.
Donald Driver, WR Wednesday 11/4, 12:41 PM CT
Greg A. Bedard reports via Twitter that wideout Donald Driver was held out of practice on Wednesday.

Our View: This seems like the Packers just being careful with their aging receiver. He suffered a neck stinger late in the game against Minnesota on Sunday and likely just needs some extra rest. Expect him to play in Week 9 and improve on his 542 yards and three scores against a hapless Tampa Bay secondary.
Aaron Rodgers, QB Wednesday 11/4, 12:38 PM CT
According to Greg A. Bedard on Twitter, Aaron Rodgers was held out of Wednesday's practice.

Our View: Rodgers has been dealing with a sprained foot and sprained toe that he suffered against the Vikings on Sunday, so it's no surprise that he was held out of practice today. The rest should do him good, and he's not at all in jeopardy of missing a start in Week 9.
Jordy Nelson, WR Tuesday 11/3, 3:08 PM CT
Standout Packers special teamer Jordy Nelson (bruised knee) is still likely "a week away" from returning, according to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel.

Our View: Nelson was third in the league in kickoff return average when he went down last month, and his return would surely bolster a scuttling Packers team. Free agent signee Ahman Green will fill-in until he returns.
Jermichael Finley, TE Tuesday 11/3, 2:17 PM CT
Jermichael Finley (knee) is likely "still a week away," according to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel.

Our View: Finley missed the Packers' showdown with the Vikings last Sunday, and is looking unlikely for this weekend against the Buccaneers. So far, the heralded tight end has just 17 catches and one touchdown in six games this season.
Donald Driver, WR Tuesday 11/3, 12:20 PM CT
Donald Driver (neck stinger) is expected to play in Week 9, according to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel.

Our View: He suffered the injury very late in Green Bay's loss to Minnesota last Sunday. Driver has remained a solid fantasy receiver in 2009, reeling in 33 balls for 542 yards and three touchdowns.
Aaron Rodgers, QB Monday 11/2, 3:35 PM CT
Aaron Rodgers is dealing with both a sprained foot and sprained toe (on the other foot) in the wake of the Packers loss to the Vikings on Sunday, but should be good-to-go in Week 9 against the Buccaneers, according to ESPN.

Our View: Coach Mike McCarthy said on Monday that Rodgers could miss some practice this week, but that is all. Hopefully he can avoid further injury against the Bucs' woeful defense this weekend.
Brandon Chillar, LB Monday 11/2, 3:32 PM CT
Updating an earlier item, linebacker Brandon Chillar is expected to miss at least two weeks of action after breaking his hand on Sunday, according to ESPN.

Our View: Chillar is an important reserve linebacker for the Packers, so don't expect him to be out too long as the team's season hangs in the balance. He will likely be back sooner rather than later, and wearing a club on his broken hand.
Brandon Chillar, LB Monday 11/2, 10:06 AM CT
The Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel reports that Brandon Chillar suffered a broken hand in the Packers loss to the Vikings on Sunday.

Our View: His status for Week 9 is up in the air. Linebackers have been known to play through broken hands by wrapping them, but with the Pack taking on the lowly Bucs this weekend, they may opt to give Chillar a rest.
Donald Driver, WR Monday 11/2, 10:04 AM CT
Donald Driver's neck is "very sore" after taking a thundering hit late in the second half of the Packers/Vikings game on Sunday, according to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel.

Our View: Thankfully for the Packers, it appears to be soreness and only soreness. He may be questionable for this weekend against the Buccaneers, but he should play.
Aaron Rodgers, QB Monday 11/2, 9:41 AM CT
Aaron Rodgers was "limping severely" after his 26-of-41, 287 yard, three-touchdown performance against the Vikings on Sunday, according to Greg A. Bedard of the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel.

Our View: As we all know, many players are after any given game, and he should be considered good-to-go against the Bucs this weekend until otherwise noted by the Packers.
Derrick Martin, S Sunday 11/1, 5:52 PM CT
Derrick Martin exited the game against Minnesota with a head injury.

Our View: Martin is out for the remainder of the contest, and we will update his status as soon as information hits the newswire.
Nick Collins, S Sunday 11/1, 5:27 PM CT
Nick Collins exited the game against Minnesota in the second half with an ankle injury.

Our View: Collins is questionable to return, and no further information is available regarding the severity of the injury.
Jordy Nelson, WR Sunday 11/1, 2:12 PM CT
Week 8 inactives: WR Jordy Nelson, TE Jermichael Finley, FB Korey Hall, S Matt Giordano, OT, Breno Giacomini, OG Jason Spitz, DE Jarius Wynn, and LB Jeremy Thompson.

Our View: As expected QB Aaron Rodgers (foot) is active and will start. TE Donald Lee gets a bump in his fantasy stock with Finley (knee) inactive. On defense, LB Clay Matthews (jaw) and CB Charles Woodson are both active and will start.
Jermichael Finley, TE Sunday 11/1, 1:52 PM CT
Jermichael Finley (knee) is inactive for the game against Minnesota, according to Tom Pelissero's twitter page.

Our View: This was expected as Finley didn't practice this week and was listed doubtful on the injury report. Look for Donald Lee to be a decent play this week against the Vikings, who surrender the second-most points to the tight end position.
