Landon Johnson, LB

According to the Rock Hill Herald, linebacker Landon Johnson injured his knee in the fourth quarter of Thursday's game.

Our View:The injury has been diagnosed as a sprain, and the good news is that coach John Fox has stated that it won't require surgery. No word on if he'll be active next week, but the Panthers front seven can ill afford to lose another man.

Steve Smith, WR

Steve Smith caught another touchdown on Thursday in the Panthers' loss to the Dolphins. Smith hauled in seven passes for 87 yards in the game.

Our View:Smith now has three touchdowns in the last two weeks, so he is finally getting on track for fantasy owners. He has been a disappointment all season, but now is the time to ride him while he is hot.

DeAngelo Williams, RB

DeAngelo Williams had a productive night for the Panthers on Thursday, but his team lost to the Dolphins 24-17. Williams rushed for 122 yards on 13 carries in the game.

Our View:Williams didn't get into the end zone tonight, but it was still a solid performance for one of the league's best backs. He should continue to produce for fantasy owners, and you should be able to count on him to score more often than not.
