Terrence McGee, CB Friday 11/20, 4:28 PM CT
Terrence McGee was limited in Friday's practice after sitting out the previous two days, according to the Bills' official website. He has been recovering from a knee injury.

Our View: McGee missed Week 10, and is questionable for Sunday's game at Jacksonville. The Bills' pass defense has been a bright spot this season, as it is currently ranked ninth in the NFL.
Cary Harris, CB Friday 11/20, 3:36 PM CT
Defensive back Cary Harris has been signed to the Bills' 53-man roster, according to the team.

Our View: He is taking the roster spot of Keith Ellison, who was placed on injured reserve on Friday. He will most likely provide depth and special teams play.
Keith Ellison, LB Friday 11/20, 3:34 PM CT
Keith Ellison (thigh) has been placed on injured reserve, according to the team.

Our View: Ellison had 68 tackles before getting hurt in his eighth game of the season. Bryan Scott is the most likely candidate to start at weak-side linebacker in his place this Sunday.
Marcus Stroud, DT Friday 11/20, 1:59 PM CT
Marcus Stroud has been ruled out for Week 11, according to ESPN.

Our View: The Bills' top defensive tackle, Stroud's absence all but clears a runway for the Jaguars' Maurice Jones-Drew to just run all over Buffalo's defense. He could be in for a positively Chris Johnson-type week.
Gibran Hamdan, QB Thursday 11/19, 10:13 AM CT
Gibran Hamdan has been released by the Buffalo Bills, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Our View: He is being replaced on the roster by former Green Bay quarterback and Louisville University product Brian Brohm.
Brian Brohm, QB Thursday 11/19, 9:27 AM CT
The Buffalo Bills have signed quarterback Brian Brohm, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

Our View: He had been mired on Green Bay's practice squad. Brohm was deemed a massive disappointment during his time in Wisconsin, but with the Bills having an awful quarterback tandem in Trent Edwards and Ryan Fitzpatrick, it's conceivable that he could see some game snaps before the end of the season.
Keith Ellison, LB Wednesday 11/18, 6:05 PM CT
Keith Ellison missed today's practice while recovering from his thigh injury, according to the Bills' official website.

Our View: Ellison missed Week 10, and is uncertain to return Sunday at Jacksonville. Safety Bryan Scott could potentially made another start at weak-side linebacker if Ellison can't go.
Terrence McGee, CB Wednesday 11/18, 6:02 PM CT
Terrence McGee did not practice Wednesday while dealing with his knee injury, according to the Bills' official website.

Our View: McGee missed Week 10, and is uncertain if he will return Sunday at Jacksonville.
Terrell Owens, WR Wednesday 11/18, 3:03 PM CT
ESPN's Adam Schefter is reporting that the Buffalo Bills have contacted Mike Shanahan to see if he is interested in being the team's next head coach. Shanahan has said he will listen, and the two side are arranging a meeting.

Our View: This move makes plenty of sense for both sides. Shanahan has said he wants to get back into football next season, and he also wants full control of his team. The Bills want to shake up the front office, and they love the resume Shanahan brings to the table. It will likely to come down to Shanahan having to decide if he can get a better gig elsewhere.
Joe Klopfenstein, TE Wednesday 11/18, 11:10 AM CT
The Buffalo Bills have signed former Rams' tight end Joe Klopfenstein, according to The Sports Network. Klopfenstein was released by the Rams before the season after making 11 receptions for 123 yards in 16 games last season.

Our View: Klopfsenstein is a former second-round pick, and he has been a major bust thus far in his NFL career. Maybe a new home is what he needs to excel, as he was an excellent pass-catching tight end in college. Don't expect him to have any fantasy value in the struggling Bills' offense.
Derek Fine, TE Wednesday 11/18, 11:06 AM CT
The Buffalo Bills have placed tight end Derek Fine on injured reserve, according to The Sports Network. Fine had nine catches for 64 yards with the team this season.

Our View: Fine suffered a torn meniscus in his knee, and the injury is enough to end his season. The team signed Joe Klopfenstein to replace fine on the roster.
Demetrius Bell, OT Wednesday 11/18, 9:09 AM CT
According to the official website of the Buffalo Bills, offensive tackle Demetrius Bell is expected to miss two games with his knee injury. It was originally believed that Bell might be out for the season, but the injury was not as severe as originally expected.

Our View: Good news for the struggling Bills, as their offensive line has struggled to stay healthy all season. The team will likely have their fifth different starting tackle tandem this weekend, which explains, at least in part, why they are 3-6 this season.
Terrell Owens, WR Tuesday 11/17, 1:45 PM CT
Jason LaCanfora of the NFL Network is reporting that the Buffalo Bills have fired head coach Dick Jauron. Jauron was 24-33 in three-plus years with the team.

Our View: Not a huge surprise here, as the Bills have had plenty of problems this season. Terrell Owens has been a bust and the team doesn't have a quality starting quarterback, so the blame can hardly be placed on just one man.
Ryan Fitzpatrick, QB Tuesday 11/17, 10:45 AM CT
NFL.com is reporting that the Buffalo Bills plan to start quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick this week in favor of Trent Edwards. Fitzpatrick replaced Edwards in last week's loss to the Titans.

Our View: Fitzpatrick hasn't blown anyone away with his play this season, but the team is obviously frustrated with Edwards. The Bills have issues at the position, so expect both players to see time as the season winds down with neither being fantasy viable.
Ashton Youboty, CB Monday 11/16, 6:55 PM CT
Ashton Youboty is out of action indefinitely after spraining his left ankle in Sunday's loss at Tennessee, according to ESPN.

Our View: The Bills' secondary should be able to manage fine, assuming Terrence McGee returns from his knee injury soon.
Demetrius Bell, OT Monday 11/16, 6:18 PM CT
Demetrius Bell could miss the remainder of the season due to his right knee injury suffered in Week 10 against Tennessee, according to ESPN.

Our View: Bell will undergo further tests, but head coach Dick Jauron is not optimistic. He has been working at left tackle on an already injury-depleted offensive line, and the Bills cannot afford to lose him.
Trent Edwards, QB Monday 11/16, 5:52 PM CT
Trent Edwards could ride the pine in Week 11 at Jacksonville, as head coach Dick Jauron is yet to decide on the starter, according to the Bills' official website. Jauron said, "He did some good things and then he did some things we would like to have back. There is a possibility of changes."

Our View: Edwards took too long delivering the ball Sunday against Tennessee, which resulted in an interception that was returned for a touchdown. He was benched in favor of Ryan Fitzpatrick, who also struggled.
Trent Edwards, QB Sunday 11/15, 4:18 PM CT
Trent Edwards completed 18-of-28 passes for 185 yards and one touchdown in the Week 10 loss to the Titans, but he was pulled in favor of Ryan Fitzpatrick in the fourth quarter. Both quarterbacks ended up throwing interceptions that were returned for touchdowns.

Our View: Edwards returned to the starting lineup and basically put in another boring performance. Despite being pulled late, we expect Trent to start again in Week 11.
Terrell Owens, WR Sunday 11/15, 3:44 PM CT
Terrell Owens caught three passes for a season-high 85 yards in the Week 10 loss to the Titans.

Our View: It's nice of Owens to show up against the league's worst pass defense, but he still has just one score this season. Fantasy owners shouldn't see Owens as a viable weekly play unless the matchup is especially nice.
Lee Evans, WR Sunday 11/15, 3:36 PM CT
Lee Evans caught four passes for 50 yards and two touchdowns in the Week 10 loss to the Titans. One of his scoring grabs was a 27-yard gain from Fred Jackson.

Our View: Evans has four touchdowns over the last four games, but he is still not quite safe to use on a weekly basis. The Bills offense is far from fixed, and we suggest only using Evans as a possible No. 3 receiver when the matchups look decent.
Demetrius Bell, OT Sunday 11/15, 2:14 PM CT
Offensive tackle Demetrius Bell injured his knee during the Week 10 game against the Titans, and he was ruled out for the rest of the day prior to the fourth quarter.

Our View: The Bills haven't found any consistency at the two offensive tackle spots all season, and this injury just seems par for the course.
Terrell Owens, WR Sunday 11/15, 11:07 AM CT
Terrell Owens (hip) is officially active for the Week 10 game against the Titans.

Our View: The Titans have a terrible pass defense, but fantasy owners are still gambling if they think Owens will break out of his season-long doldrums.
Terrence McGee, CB Sunday 11/15, 11:06 AM CT
Week 10 inactives: CB Terrence McGee, QB Gibran Hamdan (3rd), DT Kyle Williams, LB Keith Ellison, OT Jonathan Scott, WR Roscoe Parrish, DE Chris Ellis, WR James Hardy.

Our View: Terrell Owens, Aaron Schobel, Trent Edwards, Jairus Byrd, and Bryan Scott are among the active players. As you can see, the Bills remain a banged-up unit, but they are getting healthier. Scott, a safety, will start in place of Ellison at linebacker.
Terrell Owens, WR Sunday 11/15, 9:24 AM CT
Confirming prior reports, Jason La Canfora of NFL Network confirms that Terrell Owens (hip) will play in Week 10.

Our View: Just because he's playing doesn't mean you have to use him. The Titans own the NFL's worst pass defense, but Owens hasn't scored since Week 2 and hasn't posted an outing of better than 60 yards all year.
Jonathan Scott, T Saturday 11/14, 7:03 PM CT
Jonathan Scott will miss Sunday's game at Tennessee, according to the Bills' official twitter page.

Our View: Scott did not make the road trip due to personal reasons. He will be missed as Buffalo's starting right tackle.
Terrell Owens, WR Saturday 11/14, 2:45 PM CT
ESPN.com is reporting that Bills' wide receiver Terrell Owens has declared himself ready to go for Week 10 against the Titans. Owens returned to practice Friday after missing time this week with a hip injury.

Our View: There was very little doubt all week that T.O. would play, but we know for sure that he will go now. Owens has been a major disappointment in his one year in Buffalo, and it looks like his best fantasy days are behind him.
Terrence McGee, CB Friday 11/13, 5:50 PM CT
Terrence McGee will miss Sunday's game at Tennessee, according to the Bills' official website.

Our View: He is yet to practice this week following arthroscopic knee surgery. He is the Bills' best cornerback, and opposing quarterback Vince Young should aim to take advantage of his absence.
Trent Edwards, QB Friday 11/13, 5:47 PM CT
Trent Edwards fully practiced for the third straight day Friday, according to the Bills' official website.

Our View: Edwards remains on track to return to the gridiron Sunday at Tennessee following his recovery from a concussion. The matchup will be favorable, as the Titans are ranked dead last in pass defense.
Bryan Scott, LB Friday 11/13, 5:43 PM CT
Bryan Scott fully practiced for the third straight day Friday, according to the Bills' official website. He has been recovering from a sprained ankle.

Our View: Scott is expected to play in Sunday's game at Tennessee. He is the starting free safety when healthy, but may work at weak-side linebacker with Keith Ellison (thigh) out - which would raise his value in IDP leagues.
Aaron Schobel, DE Friday 11/13, 5:39 PM CT
Aaron Schobel was limited in Friday's practice after sitting out the previous two days, according to the Bills' official website.

Our View: Schobel is dealing with a groin injury, and is questionable for Sunday's game against Tennessee. He has five sacks this season, and would be a tough loss for Buffalo's defense if unable to go.
Keith Ellison, LB Friday 11/13, 5:36 PM CT
Keith Ellison has been ruled out for Sunday's game against Tennessee due to his thigh injury, according to the Bills' official website. He missed his third straight day of practice Friday.

Our View: There was talk that safety Bryan Scott could replace Ellison at weak-side linebacker this week. The pair are similar in size, and Scott should be able to hold up fine if he gets the nod.
Donte Whitner, S Friday 11/13, 5:33 PM CT
Donte Whitner was limited in practice for the third straight day Friday, according to the Bills' official website. He is recovering from a sprained ankle.

Our View: Whitner is questionable for Sunday's game against the Titans, and could be slowed if able to play - which could help opposing quarterback Vince Young.
Kyle Williams, DT Friday 11/13, 3:30 PM CT
Kyle Williams (knee) is out for Week 10, according to the team.

Our View: He has not played since Week 6. The Bills last ranked run defense has to now hope he'll be ready for Week 11.
Terrell Owens, WR Friday 11/13, 10:35 AM CT
Terrell Owens was back at Bills practice on Friday after missing the previous two days with a hip injury, according to the team.

Our View: Even if he plays, however, T.O. and his rapidly diminishing skills aren't a good play this weekend, even against Tennessee's shaky secondary.
Terrell Owens, WR Thursday 11/12, 2:53 PM CT
According to Buffalobills.com, mouthy wideout Terrell Owens missed his second straight practice on Thursday with a hip injury.

Our View: Owens' injury came out of nowhere on Tuesday, and he is all of a sudden apparently "very uncomfortable". He's not a solid WR play in fantasy leagues anymore, and now that his status is in doubt he should be left to ride the pine in fantasy leagues. Don't even bother wasting a flex spot on him.
Fred Jackson, RB Thursday 11/12, 9:52 AM CT
According to the Buffalo News, Fred Jackson will still be the Bills primary punt returner moving forward.

Our View: The Bills have the elusive and dangerous Roscoe Parrish, but it appears they will stick with Jackson instead. It's likely a move just to keep him somewhat involved in the offense as he has carried the ball just 14 times over the past two weeks. While the returns will give you a few extra points out of Jackson, he still should remain stashed on fantasy benches as he hasn't shown any worthwhile production since Week 4 (the last week of Marshawn Lynch's suspension).
Shawn Nelson, TE Wednesday 11/11, 5:32 PM CT
Shawn Nelson (illness) fully practiced Wednesday, according to the Bills' official website.

Our View: Nelson missed the last two games, but appears to be nearing his return to the gridiron. The rookie tight end has a bright future in the NFL, but is not yet a fantasy option while learning the ropes as a backup.
Kyle Williams, DT Wednesday 11/11, 4:27 PM CT
Kyle Williams missed today's practice, according to NFL.com. He is recovering from a knee injury.

Our View: He had extra time to heal with the bye in Week 9, but is uncertain to return to action Sunday at Tennessee. The Bills' run defense is ranked last in the NFL, and really need him to play.
Aaron Schobel, DE Wednesday 11/11, 4:24 PM CT
Aaron Schobel did not practice Wednesday while dealing with a groin ailment, according to NFL.com.

Our View: It is uncertain if he will be fit to play Sunday at Tennessee. He chipped in five sacks so far, and his potential absence could benefit opposing quarterback Vince Young.
Keith Ellison, LB Wednesday 11/11, 4:15 PM CT
Keith Ellison did not practice Wednesday while dealing with a thigh injury, according to NFL.com.

Our View: Safety Bryan Scott would replace Ellison at weak-side linebacker if unable to go on Sunday at Tennessee. Ellison is undersized at 6-0, 229 pounds, so the Bills would not lose much with Scott filling in.
Xavier Omon, RB Wednesday 11/11, 3:42 PM CT
The Buffalo Bills have waived running back Xavier Omon to make room on the roster for the newly activated James Hardy, according to the Twitter page of NFL writer Adam Caplan.

Our View: Oman has rushed five times for 22 yards this season, so he was an obvious choice for the release. The team is fine at running back, but he should find work elsewhere as a depth and special teams guy unless he ends up on the practice squad.
James Hardy, WR Wednesday 11/11, 3:31 PM CT
ESPN's Adam Schefter is reporting that the Bills have activated wide receiver James Hardy to the 53-man roster. Hardy has not played this season due to knee surgery.

Our View: Today was the deadline to activate Hardy or place him on IR, so it looks like the team feels he is ready to play. He has the tools to be a productive player in the NFL, but until he proves he can produce, fantasy owners should not be concerned with him.
Trent Edwards, QB Wednesday 11/11, 1:44 PM CT
According to the Buffalo Bills' official website, quarterback Trent Edwards was told by coaches that he will start this week. Edwards missed the last two games while recovering from a concussion.

Our View: Edwards should be recovered from the concussion, and the team gave him his job back. His fantasy value won't impove much, especially if he is without T.O., who sat out Wednesday with an injury.
Terrell Owens, WR Wednesday 11/11, 12:47 PM CT
Bills' wide receiver Terrell Owens missed practice on Wednesday with an undisclosed injury, according to USA Today. Owens' status for Sunday's game is uncertain.

Our View: The Bills plan on releasing a statement later today, but it is unclear at this point what is exactly wrong with T.O. We will update his status after the team makes a statement, so stay tuned.
Donte Whitner, S Wednesday 11/11, 11:19 AM CT
The Buffalo News is reporting that Bills' safety Donte Whitner is expected to practice on Wednesday. His status for Sunday's game will likely be in question until closer to game-time.

Our View: Whitner is dealing with an ankle sprain, so he will probably be limited most of the week. He shouldn't be relied upon to play this week, but we will continue to update his status as game day approaches.
Terrence McGee, CB Wednesday 11/11, 9:09 AM CT
Bills' cornerback Terrence McGee will test out his knee on Wednesday for the first time since arthroscopic surgery, according to the team's official website. McGee had the minor procedure a little over a week ago.

Our View: McGee expects to practice Wednesday, but he will probably be limited most of the week. He wants to play this weekend against the Titans, but the team will wait to see how he responds before making a decision.
Jairus Byrd, S Tuesday 11/10, 8:53 AM CT
As expected, defensive back Jairus Byrd (groin) returned to Bills practice on Monday, according to the Buffalo News.

Our View: Byrd hasn't missed any game action with his injury, but did not practice during the Bills' bye week. His seven interceptions are tied for the NFL lead.
Shawn Nelson, TE Tuesday 11/10, 8:50 AM CT
Shawn Nelson (migraines) participated in Bills practice for the first time in three weeks on Monday, according to the Buffalo News.

Our View: His status for Week 10 is still unknown, however. Whenever he finally gets back on the field, Nelson is still a season or two away from possessing fantasy value at tight end.
Jairus Byrd, S Thursday 11/5, 8:55 AM CT
The Buffalo Bills official website is reporting that rookie defensive back Jairus Byrd is expected to return to practice next week. Byrd is suffering from a groin injury related to his previous hernia surgery.

Our View: The Bills are on bye this week, which is great news for Byrd. He saw a specialist about the injury, and he feels like he will be back on the field next Monday or Wednesday. The front-runner for defensive rookie of the year is vital to the Bills' defense, as he already has seven interceptions this season.
Bryan Scott, LB Tuesday 11/3, 5:18 PM CT
Bryan Scott is fully recovered from his high-ankle sprain, according to the Buffalo News.

Our View: Scott has been cleared to return to the gridiron, and should be expected to play in Week 10 at Tennessee following their bye.
Shawn Nelson, TE Tuesday 11/3, 5:14 PM CT
Head coach Dick Jauron noted that Shawn Nelson could return to practice this week, according to the Buffalo News. He has been recovering from an illness.

Our View: The Bills have their bye this week, and Nelson should be recovered in time for Week 10 at Tennessee. He has a bright future in the NFL, but currently holds little fantasy value as a backup.
Donte Whitner, S Tuesday 11/3, 5:10 PM CT
Donte Whitner's ailing ankle is still sore, according to the Buffalo News.

Our View: Whitner has missed the last two games, and head coach Dick Jauron is not very optimistic of him returning to practice this week. The Bills are on their bye and will return in Week 10 to battle the Titans.
Trent Edwards, QB Tuesday 11/3, 5:06 PM CT
The Bills stated that Trent Edwards is expected to resume his role as the starting quarterback in Week 10 following their bye, according to the Buffalo News.

Our View: This is assuming Edwards does not suffer any setbacks regarding his recovery from a concussion. He has missed the last two games, and Ryan Fitzpatrick failed to impress as the starter in his absence.
Aaron Schobel, DE Tuesday 11/3, 4:15 PM CT
Aaron Schobel expects to return to action in Week 10 when Buffalo plays Tennessee, according to the Associated Press.

Our View: The veteran defensive end injured his groin in Sunday's loss to Houston, but looks to return after the bye this week. He chipped in five sacks so far this season.
Terrence McGee, CB Tuesday 11/3, 4:12 PM CT
Terrence McGee underwent arthroscopic surgery on his right knee to repair minor damage, according to the Associated Press. The prodedure was deemed successful.

Our View: McGee is expected to be on the shelf for around two weeks while recovering. The Bills have their bye this week, so he may only miss one game.
Jairus Byrd, S Tuesday 11/3, 1:32 PM CT
NFL co-interceptions leader Jairus Byrd is in "wait-and-see" mode as he deals with an ailing groin, according to the team.

Our View: The injury is related to surgery he had to remove a sports hernia last summer. With the Bills on bye this week, it's hard to imagine Byrd having to sit out in Week 10, but nothing new will really be known about his status until next week.
James Hardy, WR Monday 11/2, 6:02 PM CT
The Boston Globe is reporting that the Buffalo Bills plan to promote wide receiver James Hardy to the active roster this week. Hardy is coming off knee surgery that has kept him sidelined for the last 10 months.

Our View: Hardy has shown in practice that he is fianlly healthy, so the second-year receiver will finally get his chance to contribute. If he is completely recovered, the Bills have a formidible receiving corps with Hardy joining T.O. and Lee Evans. He caught two touchdowns as a rookie, but playing in Buffalo can only hurt any fantasy value he might have.
Trent Edwards, QB Monday 11/2, 12:37 PM CT
NFL.com reports that quarterback Trent Edwards could be back in the lineup after the Bills return from their bye week for Week 10's game in Tennessee. He has missed the last two Bills games due to a concussion.

Our View: Edwards has been pretty awful when in the lineup this season. We don't recommend relying on him to start except in an absolute emergency.
Jairus Byrd, S Monday 11/2, 10:52 AM CT
Rising rookie Jairus Byrd was forced from the Bills game late in the fourth quarter on Sunday with a groin injury, according to the Buffalo News.

Our View: Before getting injured on Sunday, Byrd's two interceptions made him just the third player in NFL history to post three straight multiple interception games. He currently leads the NFL with seven. His status should be updated in the next day or two, but he doesn't seem likely to miss the Bills' next game, which comes in Week 10 after a bye this week.
Keith Ellison, LB Monday 11/2, 10:46 AM CT
Keith Ellison was forced from the Bills loss to the Texans on Sunday with a quad injury in the second quarter, according to the Niagra Gazette.

Our View: He did not return. Expect his status to be updated in the next day or two.
Terrell Owens, WR Sunday 11/1, 3:19 PM CT
Terrell Owens caught a team-high five passes for 39 receiving yards in today's 31-10 loss to the Texans at Ralph Wilson Stadium. He also had one rushing attempt for 29 yards and a touchdown.

Our View: Owens scored Buffalo's only touchdown today, and he snapped a five-game skid without reaching the endzone. His fantasy outlook for the remainder of the season still does not look bright.
Marshawn Lynch, RB Sunday 11/1, 3:14 PM CT
Marshawn Lynch was quiet in today's 31-10 blowout loss to the Texans at Ralph Wilson Stadium, as he only had nine carries for 43 rushing yards. He also caught three passes for six receiving yards.

Our View: Lynch did well with his touches, and his disappointing day for fantasy owners is not really his fault. Buffalo has their bye next week, giving them some time to get their offense figured out.
Ryan Fitzpatrick, QB Sunday 11/1, 3:09 PM CT
Ryan Fitzpatrick struggled in Sunday's 31-10 loss to the Texans at Ralph Wilson Stadium, as he only completed 15-of-23 passes for 117 yards, with no touchdowns and two interceptions.

Our View: Fitzpatrick was not expected to post good numbers today, as he carried a poor 65.8 efficiency rating over 47 passing attempts heading into battle. The Bills have their bye in Week 9, giving Trent Edwards more time to recover from his concussion.
Aaron Schobel, DE Sunday 11/1, 1:31 PM CT
Aaron Schobel left today's game against the Texans with a groin injury, according to the Bills' official twitter page.

Our View: Schobel's return is questionable. The veteran defensive end will be missed by Buffalo in an already unstable defense.
Jamon Meredith, T Sunday 11/1, 12:23 PM CT
Jamon Meredith left today's home game against Houston in the first quarter, according to the Bills' official twitter page.

Our View: His injury status is yet to be updated. Kirk Chambers replaced him at right tackle.
Trent Edwards, QB Sunday 11/1, 11:00 AM CT
Bills inactives: WR Roscoe Parrish (3rd quarterback), QB Trent Edwards, FS Donte Whitner, RB Corey McIntyre, SS Bryan Scott, T Jonathan Scott, TE Shawn Nelson, DT Kyle Williams.

Our View: As expected, Ryan Fitzpatrick will start at quarterback with Edwards out. The Texans will look to exploit their secondary with both safeties out (Whitner and Scott). The defensive line will also be weakened with solid tackle Williams out.
