Our View:Williams was just signed two and a half weeks ago. Having such a tenuous roster spot, he isn't likely to play again 2009 if his injury is as significant as getting carted off would suggest. |

June 11, 2009 Seventh-round pick Eddie Williams agreed to a deal with the Redskins, according to Scout.com. It is believed to be a four-year deal, but financial terms were not disclosed. Our View:Williams will battle for a roster spot at fullback with veteran Mike Sellers and undrafted free agent Jonathan Evans. Williams also served time at tight end in college at Idaho, and could etch out a role as an H-back if he hangs on to make the Redskins. |
