June 30, 2009 Fourth-round pick Gerald McRath has agreed to a deal with the Titans, according to their official team website. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Our View:McRath needs to add bulk for the NFL, and needs to work on his consistency as a tackler, but possesses good speed and range, and could push for playing time down the road if he takes care of his weaknesses. He won't make much of an impact as a rookie while serving as a reserve, but is certainly worth consideration as a flier for keeper IDP leagues. |
