LeSean McCoy racked up 115 total yards in Sunday night's 20-16 loss to the Eagles.

Our View:Starting in place of the injured Brian Westbrook, McCoy caught five passes for 61 yards and gained 54 yards with 13 carries on the ground. Not a bad effort for McCoy, but this is likely the last time he'll have this kind of opportunity. Westbrook is set to return next week, which means McCoy is back to being a change of pace guy.

ESPN's Sal Paolantonio reports that running back LeSean McCoy did not practice on Wednesday due to a nasty bout with the flu.

Our View:McCoy is expected to recover by the end of the week, and it appears that H1N1 has been ruled out, but he likely won't see much action with Brain Westbrook returning this week. He'll be relegated to the number-two back once again, and despite his strong fantasy performance last week, will not be worth employing in Week 9.

LeSean McCoy had 11 carries for 82 yards and one touchdown, and chipped in two receptions for 10 yards in the Week 8 beatdown of the New York Giants.

Our View:It took the rookie some time to get it going, but he busted loose on a 66-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter during garbage time. With Brian Westbrook still experiencing headaches from his concussion, McCoy could be a decent No. 2 fantasy back in Week 9 against Dallas. Keep an eye on the injury/practice report next week to see how things shake out in the Eagles backfield.

With Brian Westbrook almost certainly out this weekend as he recovers from a concussion, LeSean McCoy will serve as the Eagles' feature back, according to the Wilmington News Journal.

Our View:In a start against the Chiefs earlier this season, McCoy carried the ball 20 times for 84 yards and a touchdown. With the Giants having a run-of-the-mill run defense, he can be expected to have a similar outing this weekend.
October 26, 2009
LeSean McCoy replaced starter Brian Westbrook in the first quarter on Monday night, and he went on to pile up 67 yards in his team's win.

Our View:McCoy looked solid on a few plays tonight, but overall his performance left plenty to be desired. Westbrook left with a concussion, so McCoy will be the featured back if Westbrook can't go next week.
