Bills Week 3 inactives: QB Gibran Hamdan, WR Justin Jenkins, LB Paul Posluszny, DT John McCargo, DB Ellis Lankster, OT Jamon Meredith, DL Chris Ellis and TE Shawn Nelson.

Our View:McCargo's depth will be missed in the Bills' rotation at defensive tackle while trying to slow down Drew Brees and the Saints' high-powered passing attack. Derek Fine with start at tight end with rookie Nelson out, but holds little fantasy value.

The sprained shoulder that forced Shawn Nelson from the Bills' game against the Bucs on Sunday is not believed to be serious enough to keep him out vs. the Saints next weekend, according to BuffaloBills.com.

Our View:The Bills direly need Nelson's injury to not be serious, since he will now be counted on in the Bills offense with starting tight end Derek Schouman also going down against the Bucs with what appeared to be a serious knee injury. He will likely be limited in practice this week, but good-to-go for Sunday.

Rookie tight end Shawn Nelson returned to the field on Tuesday after missing five days of OTA work due to personal issues, the Buffalo News reports.

The Buffalo Bills selected Southern Mississippi tight end Shawn Nelson with the 121st overall selection in the 2009 NFL draft.

Our View:The Bills don't have an accomplished tight end on their depth chart, giving Nelson the chance to make an impact during his rookie season. He possesses outstanding hands and speed, and provides quarterback Trent Edwards with another weapon who can threaten the seam in the passing game.
