January 17, 2010 Shonn Greene carried the Jets in tonight's 17-14 playoff win at San Diego, as he racked up 128 rushing yards and a touchdown on 23 attempts. He also caught one pass for four receiving yards. Our View:The rookie running back was coming off a 135-yard performance against Cincinnati in the opening round, and has now led the Jets to the AFC title game against the Colts - who ended the regular season ranked just 24th in run defense. |

January 9, 2010 Shonn Greene carried the Jets in today's 24-14 playoff win at Cincinnati, as he broke loose for 135 rushing yards and a touchdown on 21 carries. Thomas Jones rushed 15 times for 34 yards and a touchdown. Our View:The Jets counted on their strong ground attack, which meant they did not have to rely on the arm of rookie quarterback Mark Sanchez. Greene looked great in his first postseason battle, and has a bright future ahead of him in the NFL. |

Our View:Greene and Thomas Jones have been dominating teams with their rushing attack this season, and have made the Jets the number-one ground game in the league. He has just two TDs on the season, but has seen an increased role lately with nearly 30 carries in his last two games. |
