According to baltimoreravens.com, Marcus Smith is considered the favorite to win the Raven's fourth receiver job.

Our View:The Ravens top three will be Derrick Mason, Mark Clayton and Demetrius Williams and all three have glaring injury concerns, so Smith could see some real time this upcoming season.

Head coach John Harbaugh has been pleased with wide receiver Marcus Smith during the Ravens' minicamp, according to the Carroll County Times. Harbaugh said, "You have to say that Marcus Smith has gotten a lot better throughout the course of the season last year. He made a bunch of catches in this camp. Hard work pays off. He has done really well."

Our View:Smith could push for the No. 3 role at receiver behind Derrick Mason and Mark Clayton. He did not catch any passes over seven appearances last season, but could be productive enough to garner interest for deeper leagues in 2009.
