Branden Albert fully practiced for the second straight day Thursday, according to the Kansas City Star.

Our View:Albert missed the last two games with a knee injury, but looks to have a good chance of returning Sunday at Jacksonville. He is the anchor of the Chiefs' offensive line at left tackle.

Branden Albert fully practiced Wednesday, according to the Jaguars' official website.

Our View:Albert missed the last two games with a knee injury, but may be ready to return Sunday at Jacksonville if he practices through the rest of the week without any issues. He is a solid left tackle when healthy.

Branden Albert will miss today's home game against the Chargers due to an ailing ankle, according to Jason LaCanfora of the NFL Network.

Our View:Albert tested his ankle in pregame warmups, but was not deemed fit to play. This is a tough loss for Kansas City, as Albert is a solid left tackle and the anchor of their offensive line.

The Kansas City Star is reporting that Chiefs' offensive lineman Branden Albert will be a game-time decision or Sunday's game against the Chargers. Albert missed last week's game with an ankle injury.

Our View:Albert returned to practice in a limited fashion yesterday, and coach Todd Haley said it will probably come down to how he feels tomorrow morning. ALbert is a very good player for the Chiefs, so the fantasy potenial of guys like Larry Johnson, Matt Cassel, and Dwayne Bowe will drop if Albert can't go.

Week 6 inactives: QB Matt Gutierrez (3rd), LT Brandon Albert, WR Quinten Lawrence, CB Donald Washington, FS Jarrad Page, TE Jake O'Connell, TE Brad Cottam and LB Pierre Walters.

Our View:OL Wade Smith draws the start in place of Albert, who is inactive with an ankle injury. This swap represents a major downgrade in the protection on QB Matt Cassel's blindside. On defense, FS Jarrad Page (shoulder) is active and will start.

Starting Chiefs offensive tackle Branden Albert (ankle) has not traveled with the team to Washington D.C., and will not play on Sunday, according to the team.

Our View:Larry Johnson's season is already in shambles, so this just pretty much cements that he won't have a breakout game this weekend.

Chiefs' offensive tackle Branden Albert did not practice again on Friday, suggesting that he will not be able to play this weekend against the Redskins, according to the tam's official website. Albert rode a stationary bike on the sidelines while his teammates practiced.

Our View:Albert was in a walking boot yesterday, and he doesn't look promising for this week. His ankle is obviously still sore, so this won't help running back Larry Johnson get his season back on track.

Branden Albert did not practice Thursday while dealing with an ankle injury, according to Kent Babb's (Kansas City Star) twitter page.

Our View:He was sporting a walking boot today, and his odds of playing Sunday at Washington do not look good. He would be missed as the starting left tackle, especially since the team has poor depth at the position.

According to the Kansas City Star, Chiefs' offensive lineman Branden Albert left Sunday's game against the Cowboys with an ankle injury. No word yet on the severity of the injury,

Our View:The team announced that it was his ankle, but they have declined to say how bad it is. Losing Albert would be a major blow to an offense that already has trouble moving the ball, so we will keep you updated on his condition when the team releases a statement.

Left tackle Branden Albert weighed 341 pounds when he reported in March, but at head coach Todd Haley's request, the young lineman is down to 309 pounds. Albert hired a nutritionist, had worked hard on his cardio, and has cut out some bad parts of his diet, the Kansas City Star notes.

Our View:Haley wants his players to be in good shape, much like one would expect of, oh, professional athletes. It's a good sign that Albert has responded so positively.
