Matt Forte had only 41 yards on 20 carries on Thursday, but he also managed to catch eight balls for 120 yards as the Bears lost to the Niners 10-6.

Our View:Forte failed to get in the end zone tonight, but his receiving performance was very impressive tonight. PPR owners are going to be pleased, but his inability to get anything going on the ground is still a bit concerning.

Matt Forte generated 107 total yards in Sunday's 41-21 loss to the Cardinals at Soldier Field. He rushed five times for 33 yards, and caught six passes for 74 receiving yards.

Our View:Forte failed to reach paydirt, but still had a favorable statline for fantasy owners. The Cardinals are good against the run, so the Bears devised their gameplan to take advantage of their 20th ranked pass defense.

Matt Forte lugged the rock 26 times for 90 yards and two touchdowns in the Week 8 victory over Cleveland.

Our View:The 26 carries represented his most of the season, and Forte also chipped in two receptions for 31 yards. The performance should give the second-year veteran some momentum for the Week 9 meeting against Arizona, who field one of the tougher run defenses in the NFL.

Matt Forte received just six carries on Sunday, gaining 24 yards. He was able to top that in the air with 25 yards off four receptions.

Our View:To Forte's credit, he didn't have much of a chance to get anything going with the Bears in an early hole against the Bengals. Still, while Forte's PPR numbers haven't been as bad, his overall numbers have been incredibly disappointing. Luckily, the Bears face Cleveland next week, and their defense should allow Forte to get back on track.

Matt Forte was seen sporting a wrap on his right hand after Chicago's disheartening Sunday night loss to the Falcons, according to the Chicago Sun-Times.

Our View:The injury is not expected to affect his Week 7 status. Forte had a disastrous game, rushing for just 23 yards on 15 carries, in addition to coughing two critical fumbles at the Falcons' one-yard line in the third quarter (he lost the second one). With just 294 rushing yards through five games, maybe he'll be out this weekend and give you an excuse to kick the tires on somebody else.
