Chris Johnson was held in check for the second straight week, as he managed just 64 yards on 17 carries (3.8 YPC) in the win over Jacksonville Sunday. He added four catches for 24 yards.

Our View:Opposing teams are beginning to stack the box in an effort to stop the Titans' running game. It has worked, but Kerry Collins is proving to be a capable passer. Even with Collins playing well, we wouldn't be surprised if Tennessee's opponents continue to make him beat them, meaning Johnson and LenDale White could have trouble producing for fantasy owners like they have been.

Chris Johnson could get more touches with the Titans, according to the Nashville City Paper. Coach Jeff Fisher said, "We’re trying to do a little bit more with him each week, and keep in mind, he gets a lot of practice reps and experience on the practice field, and it’s carried over into games. He’s making the different catches, the different runs and different cuts. He’s a complete back. He can catch it, accelerate and go."

Our View:The rookie has exceeded expectations so far, but offensive coordinator Mike Heimerdinger does not want to overwork him, potentially tiring him out when they need him the most for their playoff run. He should remain active in fantasy lineups, even with a tough match-up against Chicago.

Running back Chris Johnson lugged the rock 24 times for 89 yards and one touchdown in the Week 9 victory over Green Bay.

Our View:Johnson, who also chipped in six receptions for 72 yards, has scored a touchdown in three straight weeks.

Chris Johnson led the Titans with 19 carries for 77 yards on Monday night as he also found his way into the end zone on a late 16-yard score.

Our View:Until that run with under four minutes left this was shaping up to be a poor night for Johnson. Still, the kid ended up producing another solid effort as he seemingly always finds a way to get it done.

Colts' coach Tony Dungy praised Titans' rookie running back Chris Johnson, according to the Tennessean. Dungy said, "He's been exceptional. In Mike Heimerdinger's offense, I think he has a chance to be like Terrell Davis and have that super year and really catapult them into the upper echelon."

Our View:Dungy and the Colts will attempt to slow down Johnson in Monday's AFC South showdown with the Titans. Johnson currently leads the AFC with 549 rushing yards, and the Colts field the 28th ranked run defense, making him a solid start in fantasy leagues.
