October 25, 2009 Tony Gonzalez caught four balls for 37 yards against Dallas on Sunday. Our View:It wasn't the best performance for Tony, but he'll continue to be a fine and consistent producer at tight end. |

October 18, 2009 Tony Gonzalez caught four passes for 52 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 21-14 win over Chicago. Our View:Gonzalez's TD catch came with just four seconds left in the first half, and gave the Falcons a 14-7 lead. The elite tight end and up-and-coming quarterback continue to stay in sync and both should be solid QB1 and TE1 plays (respectively) all season. |

September 24, 2009 According to the team's official website, four Falcons returned to full practice on Thursday. Tight end Tony Gonzalez, kicker Jason Elam, safety William Moore, and tight end Justin Peele are all expected to play in Week 3. Our View:Gonzalez has already developed a nice connection with quarterback Matt Ryan, and he figures to be a top tight end fantasy performer this season. Elam has been dealing with a hamstring tweak, but he should be fine. |

September 20, 2009 Tony Gonzalez had another solid performance for Atlanta, as he caught a team-high seven passes for 71 yards and a touchdown in today's 28-20 win over Carolina at the Georgia Dome. Our View:Gonzalez's fantasy stock remains strong since leaving Kansas City in the offseason, as he racked up 144 receiving yards and two touchdowns over his first two games with Atlanta. |

September 14, 2009 Falcons' tight end Tony Gonzalez became the 21st player in NFL history to reach 11,000 receiving yards for his career on Sunday, according to the Our View:This guy is one of the elite tight ends in NFL history, and he doesn't look like he has lost a step. With he and quarterback Matt Ryan looking very much on the same page yesterday, expect another huge season out of Gonzalez. |
