January 17, 2010 In a shocking story out of Chicago, it has been revelaed that Bears defensive end Gaines Adams died on Sunday morning after being taken to the emergency room in Greenwood, South Carolina, according to the Chicago Sun-Times. The circumstances surrounding his death are currently unknown. Our View:An unbelieveable tragedy. Adams, just 26 years old, had 17 tackles, a forced fumble and a sack in 15 games between the Bears and Bucs in 2009. A three-year NFL veteran, the Clemson product spent the first two years of his career in Tampa Bay. Our thoughts are with his friends and family during this time of terrible sadness. |
