Mike Sims-Walker (calf) did not practice on Tuesday, according to the Florida Times-Union's Michael C. Wright.

Our View:At this point, the decision to keep MSW out of practice seems precautionary, and he does not seem at risk of missing the Jaguars' matchup against New England on Sunday.

Mike Sims-Walker turned in a solid effort on Thursday night, catching six balls for 64 yards and a score, but Jacksonville came up just short against the Colts, losing 35-31.

Our View:It was his first score since Week 11. He has a favorable matchup in Week 16 going up against New England's abysmal secondary.

Mike Sims-Walker is probable for Thursday's game against the Colts, according to Aaron Wilson of the National Football Post.

Our View:This is good news, as he was doubtful last week while dealing with a calf injury. The rising star could have a good outing against the Colts' 20th ranked pass defense if he isn't hindered by his ailment.

Mike Sims-Walker (calf) is expected to play against the Colts on Thursday night, according to the Florida Times-Union's Vito Stellino.

Our View:Sims-Walker caught just one ball last week, but did get through the game without aggravating his calf after being listed as doubtful throughout most of the week. He hasn't done much of late, but if you need to start him, at least know that he should be healthy enough to be on the field.

Michael C. Wright of the Florida Times-Union tweeted that the Jaguars can expect a call from the league office with receiver Mike Sims-Walker starting today's game against Miami.

Our View:Wright's point is that Sims-Walker should have been listed as questionable, rather than doubtful on the injury report if the Jaguars thought he had a chance to play.
