DeShawn Wynn's season is over as he has been placed on the injured reserved list, according to Rob Demovsky on Twitter.

Our View:Wynn was only expected to be out for one month with his knee injury, but with the Packers signing Ahman Green to take over backup RB duties there was no reason to keep Wynn around. He will be a free agent next season.

According to Tom Pelissero on Twitter, DeShawn Wynn's knee injury is expected to keep him out for a month.

Our View:Wynn has been the primary backup to running back Ryan Grant this season due to Brandon Jackson being injured, but if the Packers sign Ahman Green Wynn will likely end up on the IR. Green would then take over the backup duties.

Packers inactives: RB DeShawn Wynn, FB Korey Hall, S Matt Giordano, OL Jason Spitz, OT Mark Tauscher, OLB Jeremy Thompson, DE Jairus Wynn, and OT Breno Giacomini.

Our View:Wynn provides depth as the third running back, but won't be missed in fantasy leagues. The Packers' timing on offense could be compromised with center Spitz out.

According to the Green Bay Press-Gazette, DeShawn Wynn was held out of Thursday's practice with a knee injury.

Our View:Wynn's tenure as Ryan Grant's backup is likely over. Brandon Jackson practiced in full and is ready to take his old job back, and with Wynn ailing he's not in a position to put up much of a fight.

The Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel reports that DeShawn Wynn could take carries away from Ryan Grant if he stays healthy this season.

Our View:This news doesn't so much boost Wynn's fantasy value as it hurts Grant's. Wynn has never been able to stay healthy, though, so file this under believe it when you see it.
