DeDe Dorsey claims to have signed a deal with Detroit, according to the Detroit News.

Our View:Dorsey is a smallish scatback with nice open-field moves, though unfortunately for him, Aaron Brown is pretty much the same thing. Dorsey will probably have to contribute on special teams if he wants a chance at opening the 2010 season on the Lions' roster.

DeDe Dorsey auditioned for the Rams, according to ProFootballTalk.com.

Our View:Dorsey felt his workout was "phenomenal." He recently finished the UFL season with the Las Vegas Locomotives.

DeDe Dorsey auditioned for the Browns today, according to Aaron Wilson of the National Football Post.

Our View:Dorsey improved his stock with a strong showing in the UFL this season, but would not merit much fantasy attention if signed by the struggling Browns.

According to the Twitter page of the Cincinnati Bengals, the team has waived running back DeDe Dorsey to make room for first-round pick Andre Smith on the roster. Dorsey was fourth on the team's depth chart at the position.

Our View:This is unfortunate for Dorsey, who became a fan-favorite thanks to the "Hard Knocks" show on HBO. He earned a roster spot coming out of camp, and he should be able to find work elsewhere.

The Bengals have a heated competition going in their running back corps, and both players fighting for a roster spot were good on Thursday night. DeDe Dorsey rushed for 68 yards and blocked a punt, and Brian Leonard rushed for 64 yards and a touchdown in the game.

Our View:This battle is still extremely close, and both players showed they belong tonight. Dorsey's blocked punt could end up being the deciding factor since he has more special teams value, but Leonard has certainly been impressive in his own right.
