Calvin Johnson (knee) practiced for the third straight day on Friday, according to the Detroit Free Press.

Our View:Barring a setback, he will play on Sunday against the Seahawks.

ESPN's Chris Mortensen is reporting that "vibes from Detroit feel like (Calvin Johnson) probably returns to lineup" this Sunday.

Our View:Officially he's a game-time decision, but it looks like he's finally over his knee injury enough to play after sitting out the past two games. Have an alternative just in case, but be ready to play Johnson on Sunday.

Detroit Lions' wide receiver Calvin Johnson practiced for the second straight day on Thursday, according to mLive.com. Johnson is likely to play for the team this week.

Our View:Johnson has now practiced for two straight days, so it looks like he should be good to go. The team will likely call him a game-time decision this week, but owners should prepare to have him available this week.

According to MLive.com, star wideout Calvin Johnson (knee) practiced on Wednesday and worked out with the first team offense.

Our View:This is something that Johnson didn't do last week, so it bodes well for his potential return in Week 9. He has missed the last two games with a knee injury, and while he did participate in all the individual drills (and looked good), he will still likely be a game-time decision on Sunday.

Calvin Johnson (knee) is nearing his return to the gridiron, but head coach Jim Schwartz did not speculate if he will take the gridiron this weekend at Seattle, according to the Detroit Free Press.

Our View:Johnson is day-to-day. Seattle is ranked 18th in pass defense, so the star receiver would have a good chance to do some damage if deemed fit to play.
