After getting carted off the field with a knee injury in the Titans' 59-0 loss to the Patriots on Sunday, LenDale White was able to walk under his own power on Sunday night, according to the Nashville Tennessean.

Our View:The team does not believe that it is serious. White had just six carries for 15 yards in the Titans' massacre loss. With the team having a bye week this week, the odds seem good that he'll be ready for Week 8.

LenDale White missed today's practice due to an illness, according to the Titans' official website.

Our View:He should be recovered in time for Sunday's battle at Jacksonville, but the Titans would be fine with giving rising star Chris Johnson a heavy workload if White is unable to go. Rookie Javon Ringer would lend support as a backup.

LenDale White has lost over 30 pounds this offseason by cutting down on his tequila consumption, according to the Associated Press.

Our View:That's what it was this whole time? Tequila? There's slow to get things and then there's LenDale White apparently. Regardless of how long it has taken the pudgy running back to get what it takes to be a successful NFL player, he apparently "looks like he has a new body" and has appeared much faster this offseason. LenDale's sudden ability to stop drinking Patron could make one of the NFL's top five in 2008 rushing touchdowns (15) even more valuable this season. See how he progresses at camp, but be ready to take him early.

According to the Nashville Tennessean, LenDale White reported to camp at 229 pounds. He was listed at 235 to start last season, but appeared to be around 260.

Our View:Apparently the loss of lbs means that White is in better shape, but you have to wonder if he's going to lose some of his explosive power with less meat on his bones. He's not going to blow anyone away with his speed, so he needs to make sure he does lose his biggest asset.

LenDale White stated that he feels great after trimming around 20 pounds from his frame in the offseason, according to the Nashville City Paper.

Our View:White is lighter, faster and in better shape than he was in 2008. He is entering a contract year, so he is motivated to dazzle on the field. Chris Johnson is coming off a great rookie campaign, but there should still be plenty of carries to go around for White to have a solid and productive season.
