November 13, 2009 Jay Cutler has been fined $20,000 for "abusive" conduct against the officials in the Bears' Week 9 loss to the Cardinals, according to Our View:Or $4,000 for every interception he threw last night in San Francisco. Very long weekend, meet Jay Cutler. |

November 13, 2009 After throwing five interceptions against the 49ers on Thursday night, Jay Cutler has now had four multi-interception performances this season, the same amount of multi-touchdown games he has had. Our View:His 17 interceptions "lead" the league by four. On the bright side for fantasy owners, he still managed to throw for over 300 yards during his horrendous performance on Thursday night. But on the not so bright side, in an offense totally bereft of weapons, he'll likely have to keep forcing the ball for the rest of the season, and will be hard pressed to turn in the elite performances that have been expected of him. |

November 12, 2009 Jay Cutler tossed for over 300 yards on Thursday, but he also threw five interceptions as the Bears fell to the Niners 10-6. Cutler was 29-of-52 for 307 yards and no touchdowns in the game. Our View:Cutler owners had to suffer through just an awful performance tonight, and the five inteceptions were just killer. He has been hit or miss all season, and remains a high risk-high reward starting quarterback. |

November 8, 2009 Jay Cutler had a good day for fantasy owners in Sunday's 41-21 loss to the Cardinals at Soldier Field, as he completed 29-of-47 passes for 369 yards, with three touchdowns and one interception. He also rushed three times for 17 yards. Our View:Cutler could not lead the Bears to a win, but still got back on track after failing to throw a touchdown pass in a favorable matchup against Cleveland last weekend. He topped 300 yards for the second time, and also tied his single-game high in touchdown passes as a member of the Bears. |

October 25, 2009 Jay Cutler was able to throw for 251 yards off 26-of-37 passing, but he also had three interceptions and just one touchdown against Cincinnati. He also fumbled twice, though the Bears recovered both. Our View:Cutler continues to be inconsistent for Chicago, although his performance wasn't that bad from a fantasy perspective. He should continue to post lofty numbers for the most part, though it'd help if he started to take better care of the ball. |
