October 25, 2009 DeAngelo Williams was solid despite Carolina's loss to Buffalo on Sunday, gaining 89 yards with a score off 16 carries. Williams added a season-high five receptions for 50 yards. Our View:Williams received 16 carries to Jonathan Stewart's seven. Williams has now logged two-straight excellent games after a slow start. While the schedule isn't quite as attractive going forward, he's still a very trustworthy starting fantasy back, though it certainly wouldn't hurt him if the team's passing game started to get on track. |

October 18, 2009 DeAngelo Williams ran wild in Sunday's 28-21 win at Tampa Bay, as he gained 152 rushing yards and two touchdowns on 30 carries. He also caught two passes for 20 receiving yards. Our View:The stud rusher capitalized on a favorable matchup for fantasy owners. He topped 100 rushing yards for the first time in 2009. |

September 28, 2009 DeAngelo Williams failed to make an impact in tonight's 21-7 loss at Dallas, as he only had 11 carries for 64 rushing yards. He also caught two passes for 10 receiving yards. Our View:Williams was a disappointment tonight, especially while coming off a tremendous 2008 campaign. He is yet to reach 100 rushing yards in his first three games of the season. |

September 20, 2009 DeAngelo Williams racked up 79 rushing yards and a touchdown on 16 carries in today's 28-20 loss at Atlanta. He also caught three passes for 32 receiving yards. Our View:111 total yards and a score was a solid performance for Williams, especially on the road. He bounced back after only mustering 37 rushing yards on 14 carries in Week 1 against the Eagles. |

August 25, 2009 DeAngelo Williams should get the bulk of the Panthers carries this season, even if Jonathan Stewart gets healthy, according to Our View:Doesn't sound like a bad idea, considering Williams led the league with 18 touchdowns in 2008, and was third in rushing yards with 1,515. Stewart should be a great change of pace back, but the elite Williams will be used like an elite player in '09. |
