November 16, 2008
Running back DeAngelo Williams rushed 14 times for 120 yards and two touchdowns in the Week 11 win over the Lions. He has scored eight times over the past six games and has gone over 100 yards in each of the last three weeks.

Our View:Williams is on fire right now. To be fair, the Panthers have had some soft opponents, but that doesn't alter the fact that DeAngelo looks like an every-week starter in many fantasy leagues.
November 9, 2008
DeAngelo Williams had another big today for the Panthers in their 17-6 win over the Raiders. Williams ran for 140 yards and a touchdown.

Our View:This week was the second consecutive game that Williams went for over a 100 and a score. It seems that Williams is receiving most of the carries over the rookie Jon Stewart.
November 2, 2008
DeAngelo Williams is expected to remain the Panthers' starting running back for the remainder of the season, according to the Gaston Gazette.

Our View:Williams has outplayed rookie Jon Stewart so far this season, and shows no signs of slowing down. Carolina has a bye today.
October 26, 2008
Running back DeAngelo Williams lugged the rock 17 times for 108 yards and one touchdown in the Week 8 victory over Arizona.

Our View:Williams continues to thrive despite the presence of rookie Jonathan Stewart, who only carried the ball eight times for 17 yards. Williams has compiled 17 or more carries in three of the past four games, and has scored five touchdowns (3 rush, 2 receive) during this timeframe.
October 12, 2008
DeAngelo Williams broke loose for 123 rushing yards last week against Kansas City and could remain hot today against Tampa Bay, according to the Charlotte Observer. Williams rushed for 121 yards and scored twice last season in Week 17 against the Buccaneers.

Our View:The Panthers hope Williams' elusiveness will provide a nice complement to rookie Jonathan Stewart, who is more of a bruiser.
