Cardinals' tight end Stephen Spach did not practice on Wednesday due to an ankle injury, according to the team's official website.

Our View:Spach was inactive last week because of the injury, but coach Ken Wisenhunt said that he is recovering more quickly than expected. We will keep you updated on his status throughout the week.

Cardinals Week 6 inactives: Brian St. Pierre (3rd QB), S Rashad Johnson, LB Reggie Walker, OL Herman Johnson, OL Brandon Keith, WR Early Doucet, TE Stephen Spach, and TE Dominique Byrd.

Our View:The Cardinals are down two tight ends, but do not feature the position much anyway. Steve Breaston (knee) is active and ready to serve in his regular slot role as the No. 3 receiver.

Stephen Spach missed practice for the second straight day Thursday due to a sprained right ankle, according to the Cardinals' official website.

Our View:Spach is on the shelf indefinitely. Anthony Becht will likely start at tight end in Week 6 against Seattle.

Stephen Spach went down with a sprained right ankle during Sunday's home game against the Texans, according to the Arizona Republic.

Our View:Spach was on crutches after the game, and could be on the shelf for a while. Anthony Becht is his backup at tight end.

Tight end Stephen Spach was able to practice on Friday, albeit in only one of the two sessions. He underwent surgery in February to repair a torn ACL in his right knee. It "felt like Christmas Day," Spach tells the Arizona Republic. "I'm not the first guy to come back from an ACL in six months. I hope it keeps improving."

Our View:We've heard that Vulcans have extraordinary healing powers. It's a very good sign that Spach is even able to practice a little bit at this point. We expected him to open camp on the PUP list and potentially miss the opening of the season. Healthy or not, Spach has no fantasy value.

Stephen Spach, coming off an ACL injury, is considered questionable for the beginning of the season, according to the Arizona Republic.

Our View:Spach has just 22 career catches, and Leonard Pope is expected to be much more involved with tight end receiving duties for the Cardinals than Spach.

Updating an earlier report, Stephen Spach is done for the season after his MRI revealed a torn ACL in his knee, according to the Arizona Republic.

Our View:Leonard Pope will now move into the starting spot at tight end, and the club is likely to re-sign Jerame Tuman for depth. Spach's solid blocking skills will be missed in the NFC Championship against the Eagles.

Stephen Spach is slated for an MRI to determine the severity of his sprained knee, according to the Arizona Republic.

Our View:Spach is not much of a receiver, but his solid blocking would be missed if unable to go Sunday in the NFC Championship against an aggressive Eagles' defense.

The Arizona Republic reports that tight end Stephen Spach suffered a sprained knee in Saturday's win over the Panthers.

Our View:Spach does next to nothing as far as catching passes from Kurt Warner, but he is a solid blocker. He holds no fantasy value, along with the rest of Arizona's tight ends.
