Adrian Peterson toted the rock 18 times for 133 yards and two touchdowns in the Week 10 victory over Detroit.

Our View:Peterson could have hit the touchdown trifecta, but he had the ball knocked out from behind on a sure score during one of his two fumbles. Regardless, we aren't going to pick nits here, as Purple Jesus continues to be an extremely consistent No. 1 fantasy running back.

After posting "just" ten rushing touchdowns last season, Adrian Peterson already has nine through this year's first eight games.

Our View:His 784 yards at the halfway mark have him on track for 1,568 on the season. That would be a smaller total that he posted last year, but his yards per carry of 4.8 is identical. The fewer yards can obviously be attributed to the Vikings finally having a competent quarterback.

Adrian Peterson carried the ball 18 times for 69 yards and a touchdown, while chipping in four receptions for 60 yards in the Week 7 loss at Pittsburgh.

Our View:Peterson has only notched two 100-yard performances on the ground this season, but he has scored in five of seven games. He continues to live up to his lofty draft status as a top-five running back in all formats.

Adrian Peterson fully practiced Friday, and is probable for Week 7, according to the Vikings' official website.

Our View:Peterson is nursing a sore ankle, but should be good to go for Sunday's battle at Pittsburgh.
October 22, 2009
Adrian Peterson said on Thursday that his sore ankle will be good to go on Sunday, according to the Minneapolis Tribune-Review.

Our View:He said the injury looked worse on film that it really was, and that he is ready to go full speed against the Steelers this weekend. As always, you can start him without hesitation.
