Ryan Fitzpatrick struggled in Sunday's 31-10 loss to the Texans at Ralph Wilson Stadium, as he only completed 15-of-23 passes for 117 yards, with no touchdowns and two interceptions.

Our View:Fitzpatrick was not expected to post good numbers today, as he carried a poor 65.8 efficiency rating over 47 passing attempts heading into battle. The Bills have their bye in Week 9, giving Trent Edwards more time to recover from his concussion.

It wasn't the flashiest of performances, but Ryan Fitzpatrick did enough to secure a win for Buffalo, going 11-of-22 for 123 yards and a touchdown against Carolina. Fitzpatrick added 10 yards on the ground off seven attempts.

Our View:The Bills have now won two-straight games. It will be interesting to see who they turn to as their starting quarterback if Trent Edwards (concussion) is healthy enough to play against Houston next week, so stay tuned. Still, neither makes for too attractive of a fantasy option.

Ryan Fitzpatrick is slated to start for the Bills in Week 7 at Carolina in place of the injured Trent Edwards (concussion), according to the Buffalo News.

Our View:Fitzpatrick has a career 66.1 efficiency rating in the NFL, so don't expect him to spark the Bills' struggling aerial attack - especially against a tough defense on their home turf.

Ryan Fitzpatrick took over for the injured Trent Edwards in Week 6 and led the Bills to a 16-13 overtime win.

Our View:Fitzpatrick was 10-of-24 for 116 yards with a touchdown and an interception in the game. He didn't look great and had a hard time hooking up with T.O., but the Bills may have to go back to him next week if Edwards (concussion) remains out.

Buffalobills.com reports that the team has signed free-agent quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Our View:Fitzpatrick started 12 games last season, but he will be Trent Edwards' backup in Buffalo. He did as well as anyone could have expected last season, following Carson Palmer's elbow injury.
