Panthers inactives: safety Chris Harris, linebacker Na'il Diggs, defensive end Everette Brown, fullback Brad Hoover, guard Duke Robinson, tackle Garry Williams, and running back Tyrell Sutton. A.J. Feeley is the emergency quarterback.

Our View:Harris is a rock-solid starting strong safety, and the Cowboys could benefit from his absence. Quinton Teal will start in his place. Diggs will also be missed at strong-side linebacker. Rookie Tony Fiammetta will work at fullback with Hoover out.

Panthers Week 2 inactives: SS Chris Harris, DT Nick Hayden, DE Hilee Taylor, DB C.J. Wilson, OL Garry Williams and Duke Robinson, RB Tyrell Sutton, and QB A.J. Feeley.

Our View:The most significant loss is Chris Harris, who is a rock-solid strong safety. Quinton Teal will replace him, which should benefit the Falcons' offense today.

Panthers' defensive back Chris Harris did not practice on Friday, according to the team's Twitter page. Harris is doubtful for this weekend's game against the Falcons.

Our View:Harris has been struggling with this knee injury for a few weeks now, and it seems likely that he will miss again this weekend. If he does play, it will likely be in a veyr limited capacity.

Strong safety Chris Harris re-injured his knee in pregame warmups and didn't start against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Our View:The Panthers are hopeful that Harris, who was questionable on the injury report with a knee injury, will be able to play at some point in the game.

Chris Harris has resumed practicing with the Panthers while coming off surgery to repair a torn labrum, according to the Rock Hill Herald.

Our View:He is expected to be healthy in time for the regular season. Harris should fit in well in the Panthers' new Cover-2 defense as he played in the scheme during his tour of duty with Chicago.
