November 5, 2009 According to Our View:Barber has a fractured left thumb, but has practiced in full the last two days. The injury hasn't kept him out the last two weeks at all, even though he had just 14 carries against the Seahawks last Sunday. He's recovered from the quad strain that he suffered earlier in the year as well and is apparently showing "more juice" in his runs now. |

October 28, 2009 Marion Barber (broken thumb) was a full participant in Cowboys practice on Wednesday, according to the Our View:Barber carried the ball just 14 times for 47 yards in the team's win over the Falcons in Week 7. The team's Week 8 opponent, Seattle, has one of the league's most ordinary defenses, however, so it could be a big day all around for the Cowboys offense. |

October 25, 2009 Marion Barber gained just 47 yards off 14 carries and added one reception for a yard against Atlanta. Our View:Barber did not look great, and his hamstring still does not look to be at 100 percent. Still, expect him to bounce back against Seattle next week as long as his hammy continues to improve. |

If and when Barber can ever get fully healthy, he could turn into one of the elite backs in the league. For now, don't un-bunch him from Felix Jones and Tashard Choice, however. |
