Updating an earlier report, Brandon Jacobs stated that he feels as good as he has since back in Week 3 and that the sprained PCL in his left knee is no longer a problem, according to the NY Daily News. Jacobs said, "I can go out and run full speed. I can make all the cuts. I feel real good. I can’t wait for game day."

Our View:He is expected to start Sunday against the Eagles, but Derrick Ward should still play a key role in support.

Brandon Jacobs is hopeful to play in Sunday's divisional playoff game against the rival Eagles, according to the Sports Network.

Our View:He has missed two of the last three games with his knee injury, but is expected to practice today. If unable to go, the Giants would still be in good shape with Derrick Ward, who topped 1,000 rushing yards while working as the primary backup for most of the season.
