Michael Turner had a huge night for the Falcons on Monday, but his effort wasn't enough as Atlanta fell to the Saints 35-27. Turner rushed for 151 on 20 carries while scoring a touchdown.

Our View:This was the Michael Turner that fantasy owners expected to show up every week. He ran hard and through tackles all night, and hopefully this outing repeats itself going forward.

Michael Turner is averaging just 3.4 yards per carry through his first six games of the season after averaging 4.5 a season ago.

Our View:After rushing for 1,699 yards IN 2008, he is on pace for just 1,078 this season. He has still scored seven touchdowns in 2009, which has softened the blow for his fantasy owners, but if the yards continue to dry up, the touchdowns might not be far behind.

Michael Turner gained just 50 yards off 18 carries against Dallas but did score on a two-yard scamper in the third quarter.

Our View:Turner may not be the most dynamic of runners but is a beast by the goal line and now has seven scores. Norwood (hip) was inactive, so Turner was backed up by Jason Snelling, who looked good, but Turner will continue to be Atlanta's go-to man and an excellent source of touchdowns.

Falcons' running back Michael Turner was limited in practice again on Thursday, according to the team's official website. Turner is dealing with a chest injury.

Our View:This was the second straight practice in which Turner has been limited, but he is expected to play in this week's game against the Cowboys. Fantasy owners will want to keep tabs on him through tomorrow's practice for sure, but he should be able to go this week.

Michael Turner gained just 30 yards on 13 carries, but found his way into the end zone in the fourth quarter of Sunday's 21-14 win over the Bears.

Our View:Turner also caught two passes for 16 yards, but this was not the gritty, bruising performance many were expecting. Chicago can stuff the run, but Turner averaged just 2.3 yards per carry and the Falcons only rushed the ball 23 total times. So much for the run-first offense in Atlanta eh? Expect a regression to the mean next week against Dallas.
