Falcons Week 17 inactives: third QB John Parker Wilson, RB Michael Turner, K Steven Hauschka, WR Troy Bergeron, FB Verron Haynes, S Charlie Peprah, DT Thomas Johnson, and DE Jamaal Anderson.

Our View:Jason Snelling and Jerious Norwood will split work in the backfield today as Turner proved unable to suit up with his high ankle sprain. Also note that Tony Gonzalez, who was questionable, will be in the starting lineup.

Michael Turner (high ankle sprain) is expected to be inactive when the Falcons take on the Bucs on Sunday, according to Fox Sports.

Our View:No surprise here. He would be in line for a good day against the Bucs were he able to get on the field, but the Falcons seem wisely un-inclined to run him out there in a meaningless game, especially since he has already twice come back too early from the lingering injury. Don't expect to see Turner again until next season.

Michael Turner did not practice for the second straight day Thursday, according to the Falcons' official website.

Our View:Turner would have a favorable match-up against Tampa Bay if able to play this weekend, but would be a risky fantasy option. He is recovering from a high-ankle sprain, and was only able to handle one rushing attempt in his last appearance in Week 15.

Updating an earlier report, Michael Turner did not practice today, according to the Falcons' official website.

Our View:The star running back is yet to be ruled out for Sunday's regular season finale at Tampa Bay. He has been recovering from a high ankle sprain.

It is unclear whether Falcons running back Michael Turner (ankle) will return to practice on Wednesday, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constituion.

Our View:Turner has not yet been ruled out for Week 17. Whether, and in what fashion, he practices on Wednesday and Thursday should offer huge clues as to his Week 17 status.
