Lee Evans caught five balls for 75 yards, both season-highs, and scored a touchdown against Carolina.

Our View:Evans has logged his two best games of the year in back-to-back weeks and appears to have nice chemistry with Ryan Fitzpatrick. Evans owners have to be happy with the way he's gotten his season back on track, and are also probably crossing their fingers that the Bills stick with Fitzpatrick behind center, even when Trent Edwards (concussion) is healthy.

Lee Evans caught four passes for 68 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 16-13 overtime win against the Jets.

Our View:Evans had the big game-tying strike in the fourth quarter, a 37-yard TD pass from backup QB Ryan Fitzpatrick. The speedy receiver took advantage of tough coverage on T.O. and made the most of his opportunities.

Lee Evans sat out a second straight practice Tuesday, according to the Bills' official website.

Our View:Evans is not nursing an injury, and head coach Dick Jauron noted that he is just sore. The speed demon saw extended action in training camp due to injuries in their receiving corps.

Lee Evans performed well in Saturday's 27-20 preseason win over Chicago, as he hauled in three receptions for 54 yards with a long of 36.

Our View:The speed demon should find more room to operate this season with defenses focusing their attention on stopping Terrell Owens, and he should be headed for a solid 2009 campaign.

The NFL Network confirms that the Week 17 game between the Bills and Patriots in Buffalo will start on time. There are very heavy winds in the area. The ground crew needed to repair bent goal posts, and the local report suggested that passing, kicking and punting will be an adventure.

Our View:Fantasy owners will want to avoid this game if they have decent options to use instead of Lee Evans, Randy Moss, and Matt Cassel. You should certainly bench Stephen Gostkowski and Rian Lindell.
