Roy Williams described his one catch, 16 yard performance on Sunday as the "worst game ever in my life," according to the Dallas Morning News.

Our View:He also dropped two passes while he played with bruised ribs. Unfortunately for him, Miles Austin has clearly surpassed him as the Cowboys' number one receiver, and his fantasy viability is quickly disappearing.

Roy Williams (ribs) was able to play on Sunday but was ineffective and caught just one ball for 16 yards.

Our View:Williams continues to disappoint in Dallas and has been passed by Miles Austin, at least for fantasy purposes, as Dallas' top receiver. You might want to think about benching Williams until he proves to be effective and able to put together a good game.

Roy Williams (ribs) is expected to play today against Atlanta as long as he doesn't experience any setbacks between now and game time, according to Steve Wyche of the NFL Network.

Our View:Williams didn't play in Week 5 against Kansas City and the Cowboys served their bye last week, so he has had some extra time to heal. He has had three or fewer receptions in three of four games in 2009, and has three cracked ribs, so there are some concerns about Williams playing the entire game if he does suit up. Check our inactives this afternoon for verification of his playing status.

Updating an earlier item, Cowboys coach Wade Phillips said on Friday that he is considering holding wide receiver Roy Williams (ribs) out on Sunday, according to the Dallas Morning News.

Our View:This is despite Williams proclaiming himself 100 percent healthy earlier this week. Phillips said he still appears to be in pain sometimes when he is practicing, and that he would rather not start him only to have to have him come out after four or five plays. Monitor his status, but don't consider him a good play.

Roy Williams (ribs) says he is 100 percent healthy, according to the Dallas Morning News.

Our View:The proclamation could come one Miles Austin breakout game too late. He's still a passable fantasy option as a WR2, but not a great one until he proves he can produce consistently in Dallas.
