November 15, 2009 Philip Rivers shot down the Eagles in today's 31-23 win at Qualcomm Stadium, as he completed 20-of-25 passes for 231 yards, with two touchdowns and no interceptions. Our View:Rivers remains a rock-solid fantasy quarterback, and fired nine touchdown passes over his last four games. |

November 8, 2009 Philip Rivers led the Chargers to a dramatic come from behind win over the Giants in Week 9 with a 209-yard, three-touchdown performance. Our View:Rivers' three scores were gravy, but he completed just 24-of-36 passes and threw two picks in the game as well. Not his typical dominant performance, but he got the Chargers a big win and did what he does best this season: hook up with new favorite target Vincent Jackson for big plays. His second of two TDs to Jackson came with just 21 seconds left in the game. |

October 25, 2009 Philip Rivers shot down the Chiefs in today's 37-7 blowout win at Arrowhead Stadium, as he completed 18-of-30 passes for 268 yards, with three touchdowns and no interceptions. He also rushed for 18 yards on two attempts. Our View:Rivers threw multiple touchdown passes in three of his six outings, and has 10 for 2009. The Chargers will host the Raiders next weekend. |

October 19, 2009 Philip Rivers threw for 273 yards and a touchdown in Monday's 34-23 loss to the Broncos. Rivers did not throw a pick in the contest. Our View:Fantasy owners have come to expect better of Rivers, as the Broncos' defense held him in check tonight. One touchdown won't make owners happy, but he should still be viewed as a top fantasy quarterback. |

October 4, 2009 Philip Rivers was solid in Pittsburgh on Sunday night, throwing for 254 yards and three touchdowns, but it wasn't enough, as the Chargers lost 38-28 in prime time. Our View:Rivers' three touchdowns tonight doubled his total from the first three weeks of the season. He has passed for over 250 yards all four weeks, however, and is clearly a top five fantasy quarterback. |
